Just chatted with Ford. They say I still have an ETA of 4/18 - 4/24 and I am also on a chip hold. I asked if that ETA was the date my truck would be put back on the line to be complete or if that was the date it would be at the dealer.

Seems like a simple question right? They said they could not provide me that information and that I should reach out to my dealer. Insane Ford can not even tell their customers what their own ETA dates represent. I hope to have my truck by Memorial Day.

I completely agree!

My biggest complaint/frustration is the lack of communication from Ford. We all understand there are supply chain issues and there may be delays. Dates may be missed...both with parts they expect to receive and truck delivery dates. I just wish they were more transparent. If it's a chip hold, then what is it related to on the truck? They also need to give their customer service access to more info so customers are not frustrated.

Got a call from ford marketing today.. said my truck will be delivered between April 30 and May 6..

also my activation button appeared today on my FordPass App

I contacted my dealer today and my truck is actually built and waiting at Ramp 51 in Flat Rock to be loaded and delivered. Was told they’ve been getting trucks on average a week before the scheduled date - might also be where I live causing that.

I did get a message from Ford that my expected delivery was changed to April 23-29th. At this point it’s anyone’s guess when I’ll see it.

I think it’s worse that I know exactly where my finished truck is and it’s less than 5 miles from my dealer. It’s going to take longer to go those few miles than it did for my wife’s 2022 Edge ST to come from Ontario - by rail.

My tracker has not updated from in production lol

Yeah, the only new activity I have noticed is that all my modules are now black (text), whereas previously, about a quarter of them were in blue. Probably doesn’t mean anything but it’s just an observation.

well after 10 months I finally have a truck again...I traded my 2019 Lariat 502A back in June before getting my new truck to take advantage of high trade in values. Dealer sold it to me with 2021 pricing/x-plan and other discounts. The 402A is real nice and Ford did a good job with this package offering. Only thing I wish Ford did was offer a 35" tire setup/suspension package something similar to the F-250 tremors.

last two days are the most action I have seen as far as tracking since I placed my order in October…

I got the call from my dealer that my truck is in - I can’t pick it up until the recall is dealt with that’s on it and I have time given my work schedule currently. Hopeful to have it by the weekend, but worst case it’ll be in my possession Monday.
