I just read on another forum that the holdup could be because of the co-pilot assist 2.0.I don’t know where they received their info from though.I do have that on mine though. Is there any others on here that their trucks have that that has a change of their eta?
I have that feature and I’ve never had an ETA listed, it says TBD on Ford’s site. Dealer gave me my ETA’s, first 02/08 and a week later, 02/28. Who knows at this point. I do know that my truck is likely sitting outside with a half foot of snow piled up on the hood.

Wait so are we saying active 2.0 is causing the delay or assist 2.0 is causing delays.

They are two different things, I assume 2.0 active uses more chips than assist.

Mine is a 701a build so active 2.0

I just got the dreaded ford email even though I knew the info earlier from the tracker.

To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2022 F-150 XLT is delivered to XXXXXXX XXXXXX, Inc.. Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of January 19, 2022, and January 25, 2022, has been updated to between January 29, 2022, and February 4, 2022.

We will continue to keep you informed regarding your vehicle’s estimated time of delivery.

Thank you.

My lowly single cab has it.

FORD CO-PILOT 360 ASSIST 2.0 750.00

according to window sticker it was a 1/10 blend and the tracker says built on the 18th so who knows why mine is held up. I'm going with not enough to make the load to go north.

You have Co-Pilot Assist. Co-Pilot Active is different and gets your blue cruise. I am guessing the blue cruse option uses more chips, but who knows at this point.

I know that, he was asking about the co-pilot assist 2.0 unless I read it wrong.

I find it interesting that many people have gotten email messages from Ford during their build. The only messages I’ve gotten was one in August saying that they received my order, and another in November giving me my build week. Nothing since.

Well, I can't say they have all been welcome so maybe your situation is a good thing?

You know its sad, this has taken a lot of the fun out of the car buying experience. I was pumped when I configured the truck and placed the order.

Then I had to deal /w 2022 model changes and worrying about missing options like bed lighting and temp dial displays.

Now Ford has my truck parked in a lot somewhere with no real ETA waiting on chips. It's impossible to get a real answer from anyone, Ford Marketing is saying chip hold with no real ETA my sales guy is saying he doesn't see a chip hold and it should be here mid Feb. Who's lying - yeah I know its the sales guy, its always the sales guy.

All the while I am watching trade in values, finance rates, and hoping Ford honors the MSRP at time of order to see if the deal will even work with the payment I am targeting.

I am being dramatic, but at this point I am close to saying forget it, putting new tires on my 70,000 mile 2015 F150 that realistically does everything I need and re-evaluating this once the market gets not so insane in what 2025?

This will probably be the only and last truck I "special" order. Ford marketing and finance says to call your dealer. Dealer says don't call me.... It's been a real fun experience for a person never having ordered a vehicle before. I even worked in a car factory and I don't think it was like this back then. I stated in another post. I will be glad to get back to normal, hopefully by the time I'm ready to trade this one so I can impulse buy off the lot. The problem with this one also which overall isn't major is the little things like you think you are going to get the windows in the dials but oops thought wrong. I doubt I will find a 21 on the lot with adaptive cruise, 5.0 and a 3.73 gear in a short bed regular cab. If I could I would eat my non refundable deposit and probably be happier if it was even relatively close to a good price. (except it would end up being a color I didn't want)

I also feel I paid $695 for bed lighting. I didn't want or need the boxlink.tailgate step or work surface. Just the $125 2021 option of lights in the bed.

You‘d probably better off in the long run. With gas prices going up and who knows who might be in control, a person can’t afford to drive it anyway.
So many people are excited about all electric vehicles, whereas I just don’t see it. I can understand the hybrid vehicles but all electric, no thanks; you turn a two day cross country trip into a week long adventure. Hopefully our resale won’t tank when it comes time to trade an all gas vehicle,… that’s my biggest worry. At the rate Ford is pumping our trucks out they may be obsolete before we get them.

Has anyone figured out the “date changes” at the bottom of the window sticker? Sounds promising, or just playing tricks

Mine changed to todays date, I assume it went along with the change of the delivery date.
