You can turn on/off a lot of the 'basic' setting on right on your screen. You do have to be stopped or in parked with the key on (maybe even running). I've had mine for half a year and still don't most the 'features'

Did you ever find better info on the renegade? I can only find one 'honest' review on youtube, not positive... Everything else looks sponsored. Looks like it could be a great product, but I don't want to drop 3k and wait 25 weeks to be disappointed.
