It was a tough decision for me between the P and LT. I then emailed Falken with my intended use case and they recommended P which I went with.

Just had AT4Ws put on yesterday. Very happy so far with the noise reduction and ride feel. For what it’s worth I put on P rated tires not LTs.

They should do a merge of the Lightning and PowerBoost concepts. Much bigger battery, bigger drive motor. A battery with even 30 miles range would be a huge deal given how much regen a truck this heavy can drive. I'd be okay with the payload hit.

I'm in the same boat. Can't really see myself wanting something other than a PowerBoost V2 at this point given how many boxes this truck checks for me.

I love the chalk test idea, thank you for sharing that and typing it all out. I’ll try it. And I agree that the alignment is likely off too.

+1 on SK quality and manufacturing, they’re world leaders in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. The two rears below, less shoulder wear but I rotate them every oil change. Weird that the Ford dealership didn’t catch the alignment issue - they see the truck every oil change and tire...

That’s pretty smart and looks good too. I had no idea packout walls existed, I do not have a need for one, yet I am intrigued and impressed!

One day I hope there will be an aftermarket mod and battery to accomplish this. A slightly bigger battery, wider SOC range and our mpg should see a significant improvement.

The safe ended up being pretty easy to move with the door still on, so it worked out. But yeah if it had been much heavier then I'd have figured something out :)

I know how to remove it. When you unlock it, and open it halfway, it lifts right off the hinge pins. I didn’t remove it before loading though (lack of experience!) and then at home it was hard to open it with the full weight of the door holding it shut and no handle (disassembled and packed...

I thought about it but I figured I’d lose some fingers trying to open the door when the safe was on it’s back with the handle hardware packed inside the safe. :D

Yes it turned out to be very sturdy!

While this one can be bolted to the floor, the concrete pad my home is built on has tensioned rods running through with a warning not to cut or drill into it so I have to figure something else out.
