A nice write up linked below on how to remove it. I haven’t taken mine off yet because up until recently I (embarrassingly) had no idea this was standard equipment. I was underneath looking for the source of a thunking sound when going over the culvert at the end of my driveway when I realized...
I wouldn’t say way behind but, you’re probably about to catch up. I received one of these ECG updates and a day later received the updates for the APIM and GWM (10.1.0 and 10.1.1). Then, within a couple weeks the HVAC update, an IPC update, and another “PT” update for “airflow”. I’d recommend...
Don't give them any ideas!
Honestly, I wouldn't be upset if the final remedy was the Dorman design. Perhaps it is, as previously mentioned, and Ford is still caught up demonstrating the adequacy of the repair to NHTSA. Meanwhile, Dorman has parts on hand and is offering them up for sale for...
Technically, I don't think this is feasible. NHTSA would have to be the one deciding to close the recall. Ford is responsible to either repair, replace, or reimburse to properly remedy the recall and the repair must be adequate per NHTSA. Replacing the axles and the bolts is not a permanent fix...
Yup, same for me. I received HVAC-24.5.0 on 3/12 and just received PT-24.11.2 today. Came on here to see if anybody else reported it. My truck is a ‘22 3.5EB XLT 302A. I’ve been impressed with the OTA activity lately.
Happy to oblige!
I also grabbed some measurements to the fender arch. Front: ~38” Rear: ~41”. So there’s still 3” of rake. I do have the standard duty RAS installed in the rear which I think picks up the back end like 0.5-0.75”. It had a lot of rake from the factory since it’s the max tow...
I did the Bilstein 5100 kit and set it at 1.5”. I wanted to retain some rake for towing and I haul my sled in the bed in the winter. I can grab some more pics today if you want some different angles.
Did you load your original ACM As-Built into the new ACM and then make the changes to enable SiriusXM? If so, it might be a hardware issue, like the RadioID is identifying it as a SiriusXM Canada device. I don't see anything in the ACM As-Built lines that would specifically identify the ACM as...
I'm happy to report that the OTA IPC-24.2.0 has completely resolved my compass issue. It updates in real time now. Definitely one of the most noticeable improvements an OTA has ever accomplished, second only to the APIM update that enabled full screen CarPlay.
I finally got around to installing the Faction Fab resonator delete. Rattle problem solved and it's got a nice tone, especially when cold starting. 10/10 would recommend.
Ignoring the elephant in the room, which is the software mismatch, I would load your original As-Built and then just make the changes for enabling SiriusXM found in the thread below.

Did you save the as built file from your previous SCCM and load it into the new SCCM? If not, it might be related to the information stored in the new SCCM not agreeing with your truck.
I also received this update today. Previously received ECG-24.2.5.6.2 on 9/24. The update today was ECG-24.2.5.6.3.1. Interestingly enough, today was the day I decided to put the truck on the charger. Perhaps this is a patch for the online OTA dashboard that was just posted about because every...
Seconding the safety aspect of this, and bringing receipts to back it up. I remember doing a case study on this for my MBA and thought it was ludicrous that amber turn signals haven’t been mandated in the US, and in Ford’s case they reserve the amber turn signal taillights for the higher trim...
I wouldn’t necessarily hold it hostage, but it could definitely be leveraged to get a second key that works. I would tell them that the second key “delivered with the truck” isn’t working and you’ve tried replacing batteries, etc. It’s likely they look at the key and realize it’s the wrong one...
Yeah, every year I feel like I get a little softer. I also had an old Jeep that needed constant mechanical attention. I used to carry around a "starting hammer" under the driver seat. Every now and then it would refuse to start so I'd just crawl under there and bang on the starter a few times...
I think it’s worth it, especially if you’re just buying the sensor and don’t need to run wiring. Check the power situation at the plug by the mirror first. Handy little thread below:

Like others commented, it...
I bought the Auxbeam 8 gang and never installed it. I discovered the Garmin PowerSwitch and installed that instead. It operates on Bluetooth and has a surprisingly good range. I activate my ditch lights using the phone app which conveniently has a CarPlay integration so I can turn devices on/off...
@REFLECTIONxRAGE I would also suggest these changes. I made them months ago and have not experienced any negative effects. A year prior to making these changes I upgraded to the H8 Everstart Platinum AGM (I believe initially recommended by @Buyer2021 based on some very sound logic). That post...
