Anyone have any tips for figuring this out. Have had it to the dealership and they claimed it was a couple loose screws on the skid plate and that the rattle was gone. It sounds more like it’s in the corner of the dash, or wheel well, or upper engine compartment.
Thanks!
Found this. Looks like it covers it, but still going to go back in and ask for some more info when I get back from my trip. And see about getting a partial refund. As mentioned, didn’t want 10,000 mile oil since I change well before that...
I have a 2022 3.5 EB that obviously calls for 5W-30. Needed to get my tires rebalanced and Belle Tire also does oil changes. On the phone they quoted $85 for the oil change which he said was 5,000 mile interval full synthetic. When I paid, the total was $110 and a different person was at the...
Wow. I can’t believe you lost 3 MPG’s staying stock size. I can’t imagine the Coopers are more than 6-7# heavier than stock. What engine and gearing do you have?
Here’s a link to my recent MPG loss going from 275/60R20 to 275/65R20 tires on my 2022 3.5EB...
looks good. I heavily debating trading my 275/65R20 heavier E rated tires for this exact tire to save the weight. How much did they run installed? Doesn’t look like you have a front level, did you remove the 4x4 blocks in the rear? You have much less rake than my FX4 does.
Also, which mud flaps...

Can’t speak to either just yet. Have less than 1000 miles on them. Only been in light/moderate rain and they were just fine…but a brand new tire obviously. Luckily the snow is over where I live. And yeah Mastercraft is made by Cooper. Send me a PM with your number/email and I’ll send you some...
I have been driving in eco mode lately and do notice a difference, so I’ll probably drive in eco most of the time.
Any idea on MPG on interstate 75-ish MPH? I’m at like 16-17 on interstate. ?
Went with a 275/65R20 E rated 10 ply, weighs about 19# more than these. After lots of research it seems these trucks don’t like the extra rotational mass. Lost 4-6 MPG on interstate driving, which I do a fair amount of. Normal highway speeds 55-62 mph, I didn’t see much of a change though.
Hm. Not sure where it went, I had it in there but May have accidentally deleted when I cut and paste the description. Will fix post. Thanks for letting me know.
Stock tires that come with the truck. 275/60R20. 2,211 miles on them. 95-100% tread (2x 9.5/32” 2x 10/32”). Ride very smooth, great for gas mileage. I just upgraded to a larger All Terrain tire that destroyed my gas mileage ??. Can deliver within 30 min of Brownsburg, IN.
$600
Thanks for looking!
Wow, that’s impressive with the weight of those tires. I may have missed it, but don’t see Ecoboost or Powerboost badge on your truck, so assuming you have the 5.0L? Have heard they aren’t as picky with losing MPG with larger tires.
I’m looking at these tires as well. Went to an E rated 275/65r20 and took too much of an MPG hit. Did you take much of a hit with these tires in stock 275/60r20?
Mastercraft Courser Trail HD 275/65R20. First E rated tires I’ve had and I was pleasantly surprised with ride quality and noise. Love the looks of them. I took a pretty good hit on MPG’s on the interstate and town driving though 4-6 MPG loss. Normal highway of 55-62mph is a minimal MPG...
I know there are several tire threads already, but still wanted to post about my situation.
Recently got a great deal on a dealer demo 2022 Lariat 3.5 EB with 3.55 gearing. The few hour trip home from the dealer, all interstate driving about 74mph, I averaged 21.3 MPG. In my limited highway...
My 2013 F150 FX4 leather seats were much more comfortable than my 2022 F150 Lariat. I’ve also noticed the leather seems “looser” after only a few weeks of wear. Disappointing for the price of these trucks.
