TurboPilot - I hope this message finds you well.
Your post:
"The Stop Safely Now warning is a generic warning for many issues, not specific to the 2023 SSN issues under discussion. "
I thought you were inferring that my troubles had no business in this thread. Now I understand you're...
HA! I'd just be happy if they connected the dots to the printed TSB I'm going to bring in. I have very low expectations on service centers, other than my family member's garage. I wouldn't be surprised if I took it in, told them what was happening, explained that this is a known problem...
I agree SSN is generic for a wide range of faults, which differed between my first SSN and my 2nd SSN. But I do not understand how my SSN for my 2023 is not specific to this discussion? What am I missing?
The 12v at the time of fault, went back to 14v after letting the vehicle site for 5-10...
Well, here we go again. And I can't get where I need to go. So frustrating.
And this is with trying the accessory first, then brake-start. Fail!
Drove it last night. Not sure why 12v is so low.
Remote start from app just gives a horn beep, and the same SSN on dash
If you open the hood of our 2 1/2 -year-old Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, you won't find an old-tech 12v battery in there either. In fact, you won't find a battery under the hood at all. Rumor has it, it's a 12ah Lithium Ion battery under the back seat. Pretty interesting to watch the changes...
Funny you should mention that lol. Mine is in the garage. Wife came out looking for me, heard the strange sound of truck in EV mode, and then she looked up and saw me sitting there (once again)...
SnakeBitten,
Okay, I changed the max on the gauge, and went digital.
My first disclaimer - don't pay much attention to my gauge styles. This is not my desired display yet. Right now I'm in discovery mode, and I'm just looking for what metrics actually report useful info. Once I get metrics...
You're welcome! I'll up my max tomorrow and play around with it. I'm still in the "discovery phase" of searching for metrics to watch, and then of course what format to use. I've learned a lot from your prior examples. I'll keep you posted on my learnings as I delve into it.
Tonight, I drove to...
Thanks Snakebitten.
My prior truck was a 2004 F-150, 219k miles. God really blessed me with that truck - very few issues and cost-of-ownership was very low; mostly tires.
At the risk of getting trabo's panties any further in a wad, I have to say, if I would have seen this post prior to my...
I know this post is a bit dated, and I'm still reading it. But just to add another data point, my truck is a week old, less than 200 miles, and I had this issue. The day before Ford Pass app told me it was no longer communicating with the truck, then the next day I drove the truck to town, came...
Hi Snakebitten,
I've a brand new 2023, and just set up OBDLink yesterday (Saturday, Sept 30). I know it took a firmware update so I'm hoping I've got the right vehicle reg, and having seen this post now, I've held off on importing your dashboard.
If there's anything I can do to help, to list...
After 20 years on my '04 (coming up in Nov) and 219k miles, I was waiting for the order banks to open to get what I've been waiting for. How disappointing. They did away with my color, the ability to delete Chrome (BAP/Sport Appearance Package), and the worst.... made it so you cannot get the...
