Location stuck in my neighborhood this morning, all features work, sound on. Had to manual reboot twice, ran smooth rest of my commute. Using an iphone15 pro.
Reverse/360 cams froze the show today, sync rebooted a few mins later on it's own. Don't have cameras set on delay anymore, that used to cause this lock up much more frequently.
The failures I have look just like ram failures on a desktop, can see it thinking and then locking up or fail to load. Is there a way to benchmark any of the hardware?
What's the average usage you get from your infotainment system before necessitating a sync reboot?
I have to reboot mine every other use/startup, if not every use, sometimes multiple times a use because of a freeze, black screen, or no audio issue.
Supercab, 3.31, level puck, tonneau cover, 50% 60-80mph 50% 1st gear traffic. Haven't done any longer road trips or heavy towing yet. Had a soft shell, and with that on it took about a MPG hit. Always run 91 also.
They re-installed my windshield twice, and that did not stop the leak, Final verdict was lack of body sealant somewhere up in the A pillar to roof seam. Dealership took care of it and I had a nice loaner the whole time. Has been dry since.
The Ranger is an odd duck in the US market because it's an AU Ford global design. Much like the Transits, it's very compromised to hit US epa numbers. Not much smaller than an F150 when you put them side to side.
I had similar damage to mine after the dealer outsourced a water intrusion issue to a body shop. They took care of it no questions asked, both sides and the grab handle covers. Not a cheap vehicle, those are right in your face, and a touch point used everyday. The correct tools to avoid this...
This also happens to me every time upon restart after the truck is shut off and phone left inside. Only fix I've found is the sync reboot. Think I'm still on 6.5 but current ios17
That number might be impressive after a tank of gas and a few hundred miles but over a 7 mile trip that's a false assumption of average fuel mileage. You should be seeing 16-20mpg for tank averages unless you are towing with your 3.5eb. Do some hand calculations before trusting the digitals on...
Been seeking some consistency with the infotainment center on this truck since purchase. Started out with a oneplus AA phone and an up to date sync4 12" infotainment setup. Results were pretty terrible with dropped bluetooth and wired connection to the truck. The visual experience with...
