Ford plant initial provides the week it is scheduled (Build to Week) then they will provided a build to day update to the dealers... Most of us don't see the build to day until the truck is about 5 days before it build date and the car sticker shows up. FYI - Once you have you vin you can use...

A long long time ago this was a option at least for some people (Ford exec's)even though you still had to pay shipping charges. As far as I know this is no longer a option.

Interesting it appears that there might be a bad batch of batteries or that something is providing a draw. My dealer told me that had a truck on the rail yard with a bad battery that was causing it not to be delivered.

FYI if you have the power tailgate make sure that it is enabled in the setting it comes from the factory disabled as well as the power boards and a number of other items. Not sure all the dealers are aware that they need to enable it, I know at least one that wasn't.

FYI - You can also close the power tailgate manually if you just lift and close it "quickly" if you pause after about 4 inches of travel or so the auto tailgate will close by power. Opening it as far as I know is always power / damped.

If this was a retail order, the replacement will be rather quick vs the normal wait. Ford will place a priority 1 on the order and I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't built in the next 2 weeks and then shipped priority as well.

did the faults go away after you shut down the truck and restarted it?

I call Weather Tech yesterday to ask about the rear liner with the foldable under seat storage. They have not been able to get there hands on a truck to measure at this time but it will require a new Floor liner part number. There Web site will able change to ask this question once available...
