i think that is true. On another thread i read someone saying they got wheel well liners from the parts counter at their local dealer. Unless Ford is completely unhinged, why would they provide optional parts for the dealers to make, oh i dunno $50 bucks profit? at the expense of deferring...

We ordered exactly the same day but my salesman didnt submit till 31st… I guess he was trying to squeak another sale into the March reports. My wife has a similar sense of humour…. Whenever we pass an F150 she says “look away Hon! Don’t make eye contact”!

Agreed… in many respects, “invoice” is quite irrelevant and people getting all hung up on “invoice less $500” are deluding themselves. It simply doesn’t make sense that the deal ships are incurring a “loss” on every sale. I don’t pretend to know the business model of the retail car industry...
