The ACM on my 2023 F-150 is reporting a bad number 7 speaker. This is the 18 speaker system. The problem is I can’t figure out where speaker number 7 is. Does anyone have a diagram that identifies the speakers or know where speaker 7 is located?
The OTA update for 6.8.0 will try to install and then says rescheduled on my truck. I put the truck on a charger and carefully closed the hood to meet all the requirements for the installation. Is anyone else having issues with this OTA update? Any suggestions? My truck is a 2021 Job 2 Platinum PB.
I had issues until about 30 minutes ago. Their login servers were down. I also had to uninstall FDRS and click the box to have it remove stored info. This fixed my issues not sure it will help you.
this thread has has a service bulletin which gives the order but usually GWM then APIM. There are APIM dependencies on the GWM.They will need a USB stick; info in this thread.
yes, you can choose to do it but it requires the purchase of some hardware items that are not cheap and a software license from Ford to use FDRS. Ford doesn’t push all the updates out over the air (OTA) or they don’t want to wait for Ford to push them. The dealerships also seem to not have a clue.
it is the body control module and controls critical functions of the truck. Take a look at this thread. if you start at the beginning it will explain how people update their trucks.

the BCM wasn’t pushed over the air. Those that installed it used FDRS. Many of the updates are making the trucks run better such as the latest PCM update.
It would be nice if Ford would do release notes or a change list, so there was more information to decide to install the updates. I know it is wishful thinking, but more info would be fantastic.
Ford has released several updates to the PCM for these trucks, dramatically improving shifting, among other things. My truck idles perfectly smooth. I would say something mechanical is wrong, or it may need a software update. I can look to see if your truck has any updates available in FDRS, but...
I would select clear and retest at the top of the screenshot. Also, the correct name is Window Initialization. If you ran the configuration that's okay but you only need to run the initialization.
you need to run the windows Initialization to address your windows issues after an update. You will see it in the menu for those modules. The self-test will not hurt anything and will give you the option to clear them.

I fixed mine and now have Power Flow again. I was backing out the HVAC setting and noticed an error on 7D0-02-02. The original for my truck was 0684-00D8-003D. I revert it back and did a soft reset. Power Flow showed up again.
