It is a backup fuel door release on the Powerboost. Not gonna lie, my buddies already call my truck a "Pruis". Don't need what looks like a tampon string hanging out if the wheel well.

My driver side window on my 21 KR does not go all the way down and it will also squeak sometimes like it is too tight and needs to be lubed(I actually used silicone lubricant which helped some. Damn embarrassing to pull up to the drive thru window in an $70k+ truck. Passenger side has no issues.
