Does that mean your truck will have everything except for the correct SCCM? In that case, is the only part you need the correct SCCM with pins, and you just need to swap the SCCM and connect all wires? I hope that is the case!
I found this YouTube video of DIY heated steering wheel for an XLT (I couldn't find what MY, so it could be different for MY23). In the video, he installs this Steering Heating Module and it also requires a harness that connect the module with the clock spring. Is this outdated and not...
I see. Was that brown plug just hanging there without being plugged in when you disassembled the airbag? Also what about the steering heating module? Is your platinum equipped with the module already? I'm still confused if the SCCM is the same part as the steering heating module.

Thanks for the info. I ordered the 2023 F-150 Lariat PowerBoost, and I know the heated steering wheel has been removed, so I'm also looking into a way if I can retrofit myself. Do you know if my Lariat PowerBoost will come with a proper wheel and the SCCM? Or do I have to purchase those separately?
Just curious, is the Raptor wheel the only wheel that will work with this heated steering wheel retrofit mod? Is that why you purchased the Raptor wheel, not a Lariat wheel for example?
