OTA update glare free

Hello!

I used forscan to.enable glare free on my 2023 tremor 2 years ago. I also installed a heated steering wheel. Well, this summer I guess there was an OTA update and my heated steering wheel quit working. I went re-enabled it in forscan, then turned off automatic updates.

I guess there's now an update available because every time I start my truck it has a pop up to perform the update. I don't want to ever lose glare free and from my understanding it can no longer be enabled.

Should I just keep not doing the update? Or am I set to be able to have the glare free since I already enabled it?? Any info from the people smarter than me is appreciated!

I wasn't aware my 25 had Glare Free. I was impressed the other day to see a video of Tesla Matrix High Beams. I searched and see a video where the Lightnings have the ability for matrix, is that what you achieved with your 23. Basically blacks out oncoming traffic while high beans stay on? If so, how do you like the feature?

I wasn't aware my 25 had Glare Free. I was impressed the other day to see a video of Tesla Matrix High Beams. I love the feature which is why I'm asking the question because I don't want to lose it.

Supposedly the newer IPMA update is what prevents it from working on 2023 trucks. However, your truck being a Tremor is not getting the new IPMA update, so whatever update it is, I don't think it will affect you.

Trevor, let's say it sneaks by me. Can I burn the previous IPMA back on the module with Forscan?

And if so, have you or anyone harvested a previous version for archiving?

Yes, but you lose BC 1.4.

I haven't been paying close enough attention. I need a strategy to avoid losing Glarefree and 1.4

Is there anything preventing the option for glare free from being enabled again if lost with an update? Are the 25's able to enable this feature?

24+ do not appear to have the technology available in the refreshed headlights.

It's a BIG reason I am hanging on to my 2022 cream puff

2024 and newer, do NOT have glare free. It was discontinued, largely due to inaction by the NHTSA.

i feel special it was instrument panel thing
ipc 24.9.b
i miss the GLARE FREE that i had in the 150
