Since you only have the trailer tow package you'll be fine. Only the max tow have an extra spline. I'd sell you the one I have at a screaming deal if you want it since I can't use it. Brand new in the box.

You're not going cross country with it. You'll be fine. Just take it slow and careful. Especially towing on a trailer will be a piece of cake. I've used tow straps much further than that and haven't had an issue.

If you need a new diff in the box let me know.

My truck is a 22 Screw with Maxtow.

The one I purchased and tried to install was the Eaton 913A477 Tru Trac. I do still have it if anyone wants a screaming deal on a brand new diff!!

I didn't count the splines but the shaft itself was ever so slightly larger. I've had my bolts out and torqued them back into place and have had no issues with mine so far. Knock on wood!!! I have tried to contact Eaton with their online question system but never got a reply from it.

I actually bought the True Trac hoping it would go into mine but the Max.Tow has an extra spline and it won't fit. If they had one available I'd get one right away. I do have the electrically locking rear diff but it unlocks over 25mph and 50% throttle. My numbers may.be a bit off but close...

Yes with the defroster the AC comes on automatically and has been for decades now. Don't worry it will be working periodically even during winter. For the defroster the AC is on to provide dry air to clear off the windshield.

I got a 22 502A this year and did not get the under seat storage as well. I'd wait til you get your truck to see what you actually have.

It was just the angle the truck was sitting at that was the issue. With the truck basically level the mirror is mounted high enough that I could see the top of rear window when properly adjusted. If the mirror was a bit lower it wouldn't have been an issue.

I have the 502A Lariat as well with 5.0 and Max Tow. Removing my blocks under the rear springs and adding the Maxtrac lowering shackles was just a bit too much for me. The truck sat properly but driving it the rear view mirror couldn't see out of the back window correctly. Once I put the stock...

I have the Genius 10 as well due to a Lithium battery but it works amazing on all batteries. You won't go wrong with that one.

4wd Screw 3.73 with Max Tow

I went for around a 420 mile drive from near GB to Chicago and back with fighting the Chicago traffic jams and averaged 21.6. It was up to 22.2 and climbing before I got ti Chicago.
