Jeesh. Do I have to? ?
Hope my memory is good…. After so many years of driving 70-75k miles a year, I’ve had a couple. Close to 3 million miles last I checked:
1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass Maroon 350 V-8
1988 Ford F150 Lariat Reg Cab 8’ Box Blue 300 I-6 4-Speed Manual
1989 Ford F150 Lariat...
Yeah! Another trim level/package, with same crap quality. Why not focus on perfecting what you already build? Will the 10,000 sold pull Ford out of the sinking hole?
Die-hard Ford supporter here for over 40 years, but I think Ford needs a side badge for all their vehicles. Nice shiny Chrome...
Looks like things are improving! I waited almost a year and a half for my 2022 King. Seems like they are cranking them out overnight now. I think the recalls prove that. ?
I remember Cherry Bombs when I was a kid. Stickers littered my Dads tool cabinets.
I put a Corsa Extreme on my 2018 Coyote. I have never heard anything to date that was closer to waking the dead than that. My son had a Flowmaster 10 on his 5.0L and thought it was loud. Not even close. ?
I went through this a while back with another brand. They actually sent me the safe, and I tried to put it in and it would not fit. Turns out it was because I had the PowerBoost. Something in the floor changed the dimensions of the console, just enough where it would not fit.
I’ve moved my Extang Exceed to three truck. This final time it a leaky POS despite me adding weatherstrip and caulking. I am just about to order a Diamondback, as they have great reviews regarding water-tightness.
How is the Lomax regarding water-proofing? I’m fed up with my BedRug crunching...
Ah, license plates. Haunting me to this day… that flesh colored ‘72 Impala coupe that cut me off. While I cussed… The hood passed. One zip code. Then the trunk. Another zip code. Then the rear license plate… PHAQ2. Yes. It DID happen and plate existed. That plate would NEVER get pounded...
Wonder what’s changed? I had one of the first PowerBoost trucks. Loved it. No issues. None on the powertrain or the truck itself. The Coyote I had prior was the biggest POS, period. After approaching the second engine replacement, I gave up at warranty. Of course Ford just moved the goal...
I know that it’s not comforting to you guys, but it certainly might be to the rest of us that try to have faith in Ford… This really looks like Ford is starting to take quality control seriously. I hope you all get your truck soon.
I’ve been a Ford loyalist for about 50 years. That’s quickly being snuffed out.
Ordering my 2024 Lightning was as easy as it gets. Few options. Already built, sitting at a distribution center in Chicago with many others, waiting for a dealer to order it shipped to their dealer. Five days...
