  1. Manual mode in Powerboost

Only time I used it was trying to pass in a hurry, needing to downshift
  2. Buying a Used PB - WTH is Going On?

If buying a used 22, best negotiation tool is to show them or the seller it is on the top ten LEAST reliable list in 2023. That should lower the price. I have a 22 with 1 recall and 2 warranty repairs on parts not the assembly. Great truck with an extended warranty. Truly delivers for towing...
  3. Anti-Theft unit installed

The killswitch is tye best option. Truly enjoy mine on the Powerboost. That's another option for folks to consider. Mine was wired to the transmission so I can still use the remote start for heat and AC however, the car cannot be put in gear to steal:))
  4. F150 Car Theft

https://www.ravelco.com/ this is the best antitheft solution, and easy to use. They come to your driveway and wire it in. Insurance checks are a little naïve to assume you’re going to come out ahead. The price could have gone up; a year ago in the US in Texas. I paid $500. Best peace of...
  5. Theft Prevention

It’s worth noting the GM is much easier to steal with the Onstar exploit than the F150 as a plus.
  6. Theft Prevention

This is the best antitheft plug AND easy to use. They come to your house and Wire it in the driveway. having the 14 GEN hybrid, it was wired to the transmission so I can keep my auto start stop with the AC or heat. https://www.ravelco.com/ I also view insurance check as a bit of a challenge...
  7. 2021 F150 Door Lock Theft Issue

Great topic. I felt like removing the cylinder on the 14gen is the best option noting I have not had a remote or the backup keyfob every die leaving me locked out......however with so many ota software updates and poor oem starter batteries dying soon I feel like the options are limited. I do...
  8. Drivers Door Rattle - Need A Fix

this happened on 21, F150 and fixed it
  9. Ford still removing a lot of stuff on premium vehicles

Curious if they are deleting the same on the Lightnings or taking the chips to the them?
  10. Alarm - broken window, security

Sadly the pros will use a tool to disconnect or cut the horn wires in the grill. I am a little lazy but should take my 14gen grill off and secure this issue better. Also note the drivers side mechanical key hole is easy to defeat for a break in as well if they don't want to break the glass...
  11. GPS tracker install

www.ravelco.com solves this problem and was only $500 at your house to be wired in in the states
  12. GPS tracker install

Can you help others identify the horn wires pros are cutting if you moved yours or the horn? I installed the Ravelco kill switch on the PB with confidence it will remain un taken unless towed.
  13. All Terrain Tires with Powerboost Engine

I’m in agreement with this post, the destinations, or Michelin, LTX, depending how much of a pavement princess, you are, which I am towing an RV.
  14. 2021 F150 Hybrid Payload?

Have a 22 KR Powerboost with 1612lbs cargo. I specifically skip the sunroof which saves 74 pounds and most importantly, you need to skip max tow…..which is worthless on the Powerboost since no one should be towing over 10,000 pounds in a half ton anyway. Max tow costs way too much cargo...
  15. Thieves targeting F150's

Apparently locked the tailgates are accessed by unscrewing the panel on the inside of the tailgate to access the wire harness and lower the powered tailgates. Then they have free access to the tail lamps now not just the tailgate as a newer Texas problem. there are a lot of screws to match to...
