I had a Roll-N-Lock on my '22 short bed. It was easy to install and use, but it wasn't watertight enough for my purposes. I wasn't expecting perfection. It's made of aluminum slats after all. Two days of off-and-on rain in the Smoky Mountains left everything in the bed soaked.
Eighty percent of our laws exist because twenty percent of our population has to be told how to live with other people.
Our cars are safer than ever, yet fatality rates from car crashes continues to rise. Why? Because too many people cannot put down their %&#@! phones when they are behind the...
Don't know if this is the same problem. My truck reverted to the default trailer settings for some unknown reason. Once I figured out what happened I reselected my customized trailer settings and things went back to normalish.
Can the default be deleted (with or without Forscan)?
My truck decided to select the default trailer as I was driving through Nashville. Since the default didn't have any dimension information, the BLIS wouldn't work. Not especially convenient timing.
My local store has recently added a space for them and the shelf tag lists the part number FL500SW. I have never seen the space filled, but I have hopes. :)
So my local Walmart is now selling Motorcraft oil and filters. The part number is "FL500SW" and I assume the "W" is for Walmart. Does anyone know if this is a standard Motorcraft filter, or a cheapened version for Wally World?
The breakaway switch is connected to the house battery (200 AHr LiFePO4), which ranged from 68% to 100% depending on how many days we had been dry camping.
The house battery was fully recharged on each travel day, so I can assume it is connecting to the truck. I just don't know if it is...
I just returned from a three week trip to the east coast pulling a 20' Airstream with my 22 XLT 3.5 Ecoboost w/ tow package.
Almost every time I reconnected the trailer I got a series of warning messages: "Trailer Disconnected". Sometimes I would rapidly get two or three of these in a row...
The manufacturer of my WDH (Eaz-lift R6 Recurve) says to disable the tow vehicle's sway control if using the hitch's anti-sway features.
I'm pretty sure the F150 is using the truck's stability control system (using the truck's brakes, not the trailer brakes) to mitigate trailer sway.

I'm not talking about the people at Apple who are apparently stuck at an early stage of human development. I'm talking about app developers who are paid to write apps similar to FordPass. They can't understand how these mistakes aren't caught before the app is released.
It would be different...
First some of the FordPass functions stopped working. I get "not connected" when I try the trailer light check or zone lighting.
Now I'm getting a "Plugged In Not Charging" notification. My XLT is an EcoBoost. It's not plugged into anything right now. And FordPass just says, "Sorry, FordPass...
