@Realtruck is there any reason why warranty replacements can’t be pulled from your normal inventory? I’ve had to replace a couple of things under warranty, and for both Bak and Undercover, items have to be manufactured. In one case I waited almost a month for the replacement to arrive, and when...
More than likely the harness is there. Dealer here in Atlanta adds the keypad to just about every one they sell and it goes on the addendum right below tinted windows and a spray in bed liner. I think they get $395 for it.
I have the G3s in the SL range, but stock 275/60/20. When I was shopping the 275/65/20s were my first choice but were backordered and it got to the point where I couldn't wait any longer.
Just passed 20K miles and 3 of the 4 still have 10/32. The 4th one got replaced this week after an...
The rear latch assembly has a plastic cover that runs the full length to hide the cable and hold the knob assembly. The cover kept falling off and hanging down. I sent Extang a pic and said there was no fix and replaced the cover. The second one, out of the box, had the exact same issue. At...
I had 2 ALXs fail due to a manufacturing issue. They then had a production hold and replaced it with the Bak MX4.
I like the Endure and the knob assembly. Just needed it sooner.
Looks like a nice cover but it also looks like the install is more involved. Latches have to be moved and adjusted; striker bars have to be moved and adjusted. None of that was necessary on the Leer or frankly any of the Realtruck covers.
I found that the carbon enhanced ones tend to impede air flow.
If it were me, I would (a) replace the filter (b) check to ensure all the drains are clear then (c) get my hands on an ozone generator, put it in the truck with the windows up, truck running, and AC set to RECIRC and let it run for...
H8 will fit perfectly and if you go Walmart or Costco it's the same price as the H7 anyway.
The battery insulator's are about $30 on Amazon for the bigger one.
There is now a ball mount that uses the Boxlink mounts...I think it's made by Bulletproof.
I bought a $25 bracket off Amazon and mounted it to the bed. Works great.
The Leer HF650M uses a double seal and doesn't require drain tubes. (It also does the best job of keeping water out at the front). The Realtruck/BAK/Undercover/Extang/Ford Branded all use tubes.
