There is a grommet. Not easy but doable if you fish it with a wire. I used a screwdriver to crack it open

Same here. You can't force to refresh the truck status with the new app anymore, so it's just stuck on these previous states

I want to do the same thing and install the X-connect plug like how the block heater plugs are done. Or maybe do some sort of mount with a flap like the Silverado heater plugs.

I can imagine who would want one. Driving and parking my F150 in downtown SF can be a butt clenching experience.

I never had either of those two scenarios during my entire ownership. It’s been buttery smooth.

Same. I had ordered the heated SCCM for $47. They said its backordered and cancel the order. Then it showed up available for $60 a few days later...

@kt06siggm Did you ever solve this? I have the same problem. I've tried wiggling the sensor bracket around but I still get "low voltage" during calibration.
