I’m not really interested in more lift due to CV axle angle. Just want the best ride quality possible with a 2-2.5” level. If an extra $100 puck would achieve that goal, it is easily worth it to me.
Maybe a dumb idea but I’ve heard from some that leveling shocks at max or near max setting rides more firm than a lower setting. Is there any ride quality/softness to be gained by installing leveling shocks at their lowest setting and throwing a 2” puck on top to get the level?
I didn’t think the plant was open in between Christmas and New Years. Maybe this is just reflecting that the truck will be built in the first week of the new year.
I ordered my truck with FX4 and I will be promptly replacing the shocks with Eibach leveling shocks all the way around. Because some men just want to watch the world burn. ?
Had a 2019 Expedition with the 3.5. That vehicle alone burned me on the 3.5. My first new truck was an 04 F150 with the 5.4. Loved the truck but that 5.4 was a turd. Cam phaser tick and spark plug hell.
So when I bought my wife the 19 Expedition, I thought the 3.5 had been out for a decade so...
Easier to add power boards than HUD. And HUD is worth it IMO. Plus you can’t get a 5.0 in KR or Platinum. Nicer interior is relative. Personally I think they are pretty close in comfort between a lariat and KR/platinum. Sure no massaging seats but those are pretty gimmicky and most people only...
Ordered 5.0 Lariat BAP Ultimate yesterday 11/13/24. Build date 1/6/25. Granger doesn’t mess around. ?
Last truck I bought from them was an F350 ordered in August of 23 and took delivery in Feb of 24. Different ballgame now.
Rapid red with BAP is easily my favorite color. I had a 2020 F350 in rapid red for farming and it was impossible to keep clean. Or heck even presentable. So I switched to iconic silver on my 24 F350 but I am this close ? to ordering a truck exactly like this for light duty work. Just miss that...
