Thank you, I have looked into that but obviously didn’t do it. This may be what pushes me to. This should be a few hours but could go into days so depending on that I guess I’ll see how this setup goes. So far it is awesome.
The electric company shut the power off in Northern Colorado due to wind we’re supposed to have and the dry weather. This is the first time I’ve used the truck like this. I have the 7.2 kW generator. I just went to the menu and selected Generator Mode. I have 4 extension cords running from the...
You gotta be careful, they told me they’d inspect it and if the bolt is sheared they’d be required to keep the truck. That would be 6+ months and no loaner but they have great deals on rentals! The whole thing is BS.
One of the dealerships I called wanted to inspect my truck for all recalls, which would be all of them because I can’t get any of them done based on how they do it. Oh well I’ll take my chances with all of them I guess. Not even a loaner Ford Focus for a few days?!
I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I called the dealership I bought the truck from, they said 3 day inspection to determine that I haven’t had the recall repaired already. I have not. I called another local dealership and they said 2 day inspection. No loaner, they’d give me a ride...
If I remember right I had a website to follow as well as a YouTube video and did it one step at a time and it worked fine. I’m far from being computer savvy so getting a good handle on it first is what I did. It’s actually very easy and only a few steps.
I bought it for like $20 on Amazon and only used it for that but it can do lot of other things. You plug it into a laptop and the OBD port on the truck to access the computer. I found some forums and YouTube videos to learn the process, but you’re just changing the tire circumference that’s...
I have 295/65R20 ties that are 35.1” in diameter so this is probably a good starting point for you. I did it with FORScan and after some reading online and trial and error with a GPS, I changed the old measurement from 2547mm to 2686mm and it’s spot on now.
Good so far. I went through a car wash the other day and the heavy bed mat was lifted out of place but the outlet cover didn’t move at all. I had the same concern but it seems strong.
I tried about 10 times and also charged the battery with a charger, all failed, now can’t even try so you may have the same problem as me, whatever that may be.
Thanks, that’s what it says. I tried and failed probably 10+ times and now can no longer try. I’d honestly be fine if the updates just stopped for good but I’ll try again if it shows up.
Anyone know what happens if it tries to get this update a bunch of times and fails, and then no longer allows the truck to even try? It’s no longer attempting or giving me the option. I even charged my battery with a charger and it still didn’t work. The battery is fine, no warnings or low power...
I have to come back to my favorite thread. I think I have had 2 updates to fix the window issue. It was good for a while. Now it bounces back down again, and won’t roll up automatically anymore, so that is new. Come on Ford.
