I've been running my truck in 8th at highway speed with little to no difference in mpg. Will shift down on bigger hills....that's it. Towing 7k lbs I've been running in 7th.....drops to 6th on hills. Around city I'm running 4th or 5th..... I do have the 3.5 EB with 3.55 gears. I absolutely hate...

Hmmm....I've been toying with the idea of a tuner again. Had one on my 11 with tunes from somewhere....truck felt completely different. Past bumper to bumper warranty but still on powertrain warranty so...... Truck is gonna be a long term own for me......wouldn't mind the shifting being better...

I know exactly one person who owns a truck and puts winter tires on. His truck never sees gravel or mud,or deep snow unless its on the street. Everyone else....AT tires. So I guess they are good enough.

I'd be unhappy with the winter tires in mud too....which we can get at any time in the winter when a Chinook rolls in. 30 plus years of winter and offroading here in Alberta and I've never had anything but ATs with snow flakes. I think ill survive.

I've never complained about the comfort of the seats in any of my XLTs. The side bolster of drivers seat i wish was better tho....its been replaced once under warranty....I'll explore some options now tho cause warranty is done. Im slim so the sitting in them i actually want more sidewall bolster.

They work very well from my experience with them.....my only complaint was wear from lots of gravel,which I don't do as much. In snow/ice they are excellent. For winter it's all about siping......and they have alot. They are a year round tire.

I'd love a Ranger Raptor too.....can't justify 85k C$ for it tho.🤪🤪 Everything is bat shit expensive.

Just over 2k C$ installed and taxes here.....and that was the cheapest I could find in my area.

I looked at the Nokians.....not aggressive looking enough for me,price was just as much as the KO3s here. I also 5hought about the Open countries.....but KO3s pulled me in.

Everything is pricy.....Duratracs were a bit more,Falkens about the same. So pick a tire I guess. Duratracs I had to resipe after 2 winters.....won't have to with the BFGs(siping goes deeper). I've had KOs before....only complaint was gravel chewed them up.We will see on these.

I was gonna wait to see how my worn down Duratracs would do when the snow flew but got the itch.....tire shop had the KO3s in. Half hr and 2k later off I went. Stock size.....275/60/20 I've heard BFG run a little narrower than other brands and it sure seems that way,but that's all right...

Last 5000 miles I've averaged 15.6 mpg combined. Winter is hard on mpg up here. But still I've never got 20mpg at highway speed.....ever On any of my 3 3.5L's. All have been lifted(little bit of Rake left) and all have had stock size Duratracs. If I drove 50mph I'd get over 20.....that's the...
