@RayRay did you hardwire your garmin? I'd like to that. TBH, I've been trying to call Bestbuy to have them do it, but I can't get a hold of them. I want to try installing it myself before going to Bestbuy.

I used one of those jumper harnesses that plug into the back of the auto dimming mirror. (Only provides power when ign is on) Will not work for recording while parked.

sales guy sent me an updated screenshot of the tracking system. mine is back to showing 'micro chip at plant on hold' note. eta currently still 8/31.

Got the truck back yesterday. It seems like its all good now.

I spoke too soon. Something seriously messed up with my trucks computers.

Sometimes when it auto stops (auto start/stop feature) it will refuse to auto start. All the screens restart. And I have to turn the truck off, and back on using the normal switch. When it turns it back on I get a bunch of warnings but then they instantly disappear. I drive with that "feature" off now.

Also sometimes when I drive the dashboard screen restarts and it says "Precollision Assist Unavailable", but atleast it doesn't effect my driving.

My F150 hit the dealership today, hope it will be worth the wait. Keep the faith there is movement for the 4-26 build week.

I am in the 4/26 build week and as of last week my plat finally shipped. Now, i need to figure out how to track the rail.

Good idea but they could have designed it better. (smaller)

What did it say before? If it had changed before then this might be a typical tracker issue.

That is a good idea, thank you. Unfortunately Canada doesn't have the same lemon law, but ya at this point I think I want a new truck. I know intermittent problems like this are hard to diagnose and fix and I don't have faith that they will figure it out.

I just saw @praveenperera respond. Hopefully CAN has a similar law that protects the consumer. I hate that you can't just enjoy the truck. Ugh.

couple weeks ago when eta changed from 10/31 to 8/31, the little note on visibility page for "micro chip on hold' was gone. at that same time, the final NULL entry on the etis site was filled in.

flash forward a few weeks, i was expecting the 'built' icon to fill in, so i reached out to the dealer and now it's back to showing as on hold for chip. it hasnt left 'produced' since 4/26.

A few people are saying a new battery fixed the issue. I wonder if sitting out in the parking lot without being used degraded the battery?

Just ensure that third party warranty you're being offered will actually cover everything that the ESP would cover.

The only other think I would offer is who recognizes the warranty. What possible problems getting warranty work approved.
