I guess its part me being a bit lazy due to never having any time (kids doing sports) and just simply overwhelmed by this "project"

its a 91 manual. unsure of the mileage b/c i dont think the odometer works haha
Honeslty, just needs a bunch of small things.
Probably needs brakes, probably needs exhaust, one of the back doors doesnt open, drivers window doesnt go down, i think the speedo works but not that tach, clutch goes in kinda far for my liking and as far as the engine goes, runs well...after some plasticwrap. does smoke when driven and i dont know whats causing that...

just a lot of little things haha

Oof. There are quite a few "Taurus" fixes that may be easy to do, but not the engine-related stuff. Clutch probably isn't TOO bad to get to, but does take time (which you don't have). And once you start investigating the smoking engine, could open a can of worms and hard to find parts for the Yamaha stuff, if you need it.

yeah i'm sure the smoking is a seal or hose leaking...but that thing is crammed in the engine bay. but the window, simply $25 regulator. brakes, nothing fancy. i was given the car and was told it was running and driving which it wasssss but man that was kind of a stretch haha

Love the El Camino one of my favorites. Back in the mid 70s when in high school a guy had a 64 El Camino that had a wicked 327 in it with 4 speed and another had a black 40 Ford coupe and is the reason to this day, they are my two favorites.

Thanks. This one has a wicked 383 stroker with a 4L80E and a QA1 suspension. Lots of fun to drive.
