Just finished my trailer side view turn signal and the Silence Mode changes. Three easy changes and now look what I have:

Update: Just got my travel trailer and tried out the Trailer Side View. One word. WOW, I LOVE IT! ok 4 words... So much easier now.

In FORScan i disabled Auto start stop the easy way. As-built Body control module. Just changed it from enabled to disabled and cycled through and disconnected. Worked perfect and now it’s disabled.
But now the battery light stays on. I reset the BMS several times and still on. Ran FORScan again this morning and have no DTC faults.
So I enabled it back on and the battery light went away. Any suggestions on why the light is on when I disable the Start Stop and any way to clear it?
Thank you
i don't have ASS to worry about, but on the common tab of the spreadsheet, ASS is disabled by a setting in the PSCM, not BCM. Try that instead.

I have a a 25 tremor and looking to add Walk away lock. I have one question- so first I have to add 8 to enable walk away lock and to add audible feedback the next step is to change that 8 to C? Is that correct?

If it is currently 8 then yes, change to C

Using ForScan... is there anyway to change the order of the side card? Mine has Nav first and defaults to it when started. Would like phone first card

Anyone know how to change the direction of the drive mode selector? I upgraded from 8" to full 12" digital dash, and now the drive mode selector knob is backwards with the new cluster (seems the menu from the 8" to the 12" is backwards)

I thought it might be:

Drive Mode Control Mirror (DMCM) in IPC

ok I’ll try that way. The only reason I didn’t do that way in the first place is because I read a post from a few years ago said that it tricks the start stop that there is a steering wheel motion at a stop so it never shuts off. One response said that might not be good for the truck in the long run also ?‍♂ what’s your opinion? Thanks SilverPigeon

I don't believe so Don, but there is one way to be sure: remove all cards except phone and see if Nav still comes up. If it does, it's a forced default, like drive mode "normal" is. If it doesn't appear, add it back in; then if it becomes default, it's prioritised in some way. You'll know for sure then, and just add back the cards you want (all are "IOD" in the APIM).

12" IPC display of drive modes left to right is: Sport, Eco, Tow Haul, Normal, Slippery, Deep Snow/Sand, Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl. You could try DMCM, but what's your current value for it? Other modules that may affect it (depending upon trim level): ABS, ATCM, HVAC, PCM, SCCM.

My opinion is that it will have no effect on the systems. The only influence is running the engine all the time ( no ASS) as opposed to more use of the starter system which is meant to cope with the extra work and battery (ASS).

Thanks... I will have to play with this and see what I can come up with. I just might delete Nav totally. Problem solved...:teehee:

Does anyone know where in Forscan I can update the IPC engine run and idle hours?

I am in Canada and just got a 25MY tremor 402a. On my 23 Lariat I had an option (border crossing) that will trigger units change to mph/kmph every time I’ll cross the border. I don’t see that setting in my 25 IPC any more. There’s only one option to show speed in MPH and it shows both speeds but won’t automatically ask to change when I cross border.

Also when I turn MPH setting my HUD will only show MPH even in Canada and IPC shows both. If I can’t turn border crossing in Forscan, is there a setting that I can turn on to show both units in IPC but HUD shows KMPH? Thank you.

I don't think that's possible in FORScan, only enable/disable those functions.

A couple of things:
1. The border crossing reminder is fed to the IPC from the APIM in '21-'23 trucks. Either the same is true for '24 and later, or that now appears as a setting in the APIM when you enable CPBCRS. What value do you have for the asterisk here:
7D0-09-04xxxxxxxxx*--
?
2. In the SYNC screen, there should be something like Settings > General > Default Units. If set to metric, the speedo shows km/h only. Enabling speedo in mph in the IPC then shows both, with km/h above and mph below. Have you checked that SYNC setting? I don't have a HUD so I don't know if that helps.
