I do not as the label was faded, but I believe in the first post the working shifters are listed. The salvage seller had the vin listed and verified to a 21 Expedition 3.5L.

Upon further consideration I've changed my 'wants' for the knob shifter configuration ....
  • I don't have the fold-out work surface, no desire for it
  • I'd just as soon not have the bulky and somewhat funky feeling lever, thus my interest in the Expedition knob (nagging suspicion that the OE motorized lever GSM will be a source of problems over the long-term ownership of my truck)
  • I'd rather have the knob and +/- buttons elevated so they'd be essentially flush with the surrounding trim, in easy fingertip reach with my hand resting over the front of my console armrest
  • I'd like the cubby to be 'bare'
So, this is my ideal mounting ...

Dusty, the Etsy guy (MinionMakes), has graciously cancelled my previous order and expressed he might pursue a 'flush-mount' version similar to my ideal. I like that Dusty's piece uses the same mounting system as the OE lever GSM and uses screws to mount the Expedition shifter with no modification.

But first, he's focused making a tweak / improvement on his current version and getting that delivered to current customers who have had a slight fitment problem ((y) proper priority, IMO, and I'm not in a rush for this).

Just curious, does anyone else have an interest in a 'flush-mount' version of this mod?

My desire to do this was based solely on appearance and to be like what I am use to in my wife's new Explorer. While my truck has the work surface, I bought used so this truck is loaded with un necessary things for me.

I may have missed it. I'm trying to verify that this swap is compatible with 2024. I want a 5.0 and like the 24. Just want to make sure I can do this swap. Thanks for any and all info.

I worked with a friend who is an experienced 3D print designer and engineer. We are making a few tweaks and improvements to the design, I'll share an update soon.
Are you able to make this for others? I do not own a 3d printer. Really like the design of the one you did. You had mentioned some tweeks to the design and an update, has anything changed?

Is someone working on the 24+ or is it just not possible with the FORSCAN stuff? Would love to do this on my 25.
I don’t not believe there is anything that can be done via forscan. Since the 24+ has tron authentication the sinister needs to be compatible. Which at this point I believe is just the f150 shifter, maybe the 2025 maverick and expedition as well. No one that I know of has tested those and I’ve been unable to find part numbers or available parts either.

Sounds like someone needs to go take one on a test drive/rental and pull the shifter out for the PN# hahah

Has anyone tried the 24 Expedition switch? Looks like the "B" version is the one, since it doesn't have the Diff unlock button.

Here's what I found on OEM Parts using VIN#'s from the Ford website.

23-25 Escape: PZ1Z-7P155-AM
25 Maverick: SZ6Z-7P155-A & SZ6Z-7P155-B
24 Expedition: NL1Z-7P155-B (no diff button) or NL1Z-7P155-C (diff button)

No 2025 parts that I can find yet, expect from a drawing showing "7p155":

Just noticed the 24 Expedition selector is the same used earlier in the thread, and read through enough pages to know it won't work. That makes me sad haha

Has anyone run into issues where you plug the shifter in and it doesn't light up? Truck says put shifter into park, but the shifter acts like it's dead?

Happening with both the stock and dial shifter now.
