Hey Guys, hoping you can help. Many of us who bought the Job 1 25MY are left with the ugly blank plate filling the hole where Ford deleted many of the usual buttons above the Sync screen. Thanks to a Post by @Abraham5G, we see now that Ford has done the right thing, replaced the blank with a much better solution, and centered the remaining buttons. I'd really like to know what these needed part numbers would be to replace the ugly big blank plate and lens on the J1 with the new lens like the J2. Can anyone help with part numbers? Would the J1 folks be able to just put our existing buttons into the new lens that holds the buttons and achieve the new and improved centered look?

Looking on Ford Parts website, I can't seem to locate the black lens that holds the buttons. Even if someone could tell me where it might be found on the website or the part name, that would be helpful. thought for sure it would be in the FORD PARTS / BODY / INSTRUMENT PANELS section, but I had no luck.

Any help is much appreciated!!

The solution looks good to me, better for sure! I'm hoping simply replacing the Black Lens and the Downhill button, or button face anyway will be all that's needed. The downhill button in the solution has an angled right side which will need to be replaced. Ford must have just rushed it out the door with that blank. Let's hope that's all they rushed ?

err, did Job 2 start? I haven't seen anything about that, let alone an order guide. I've been holding out for it.
Apparently this photo was on a recently produced Raptor. Personally, I'm not sure of the production date for Job 1 and 2. When I asked Grok, this was the reply.

Job 1 for 2025 F-150s started at the Dearborn Ford plant on November 12, 2024.

Job 2 production for the 2025 Ford F-150 at the Dearborn Truck Plant started on February 3, 2025.

I'm skeptical.

That was indeed the date for Maverick Job 2, and I can find non-AI references for the 2025 lightning, but a few pages into regular google results (using -video: to suppress babble and ai), and I can't find any reference to 2025 Job 20 for F-150.

That's absolutely why I referenced the source. Garbage in garbage out, take it with a grain of salt ? I'm hopeful someone will reply with some factual information for us all. I do recall Ford opening the 703A option on the order banks a while back for the platinums, basically the limited or platinum Plus option. I believe those typically are job 2. Regardless, I'm just glad to see there's some hope to get rid of those ugly blank plates.

once I can have active motion, full recline, and CCD, I'm ready to order.

If I can't have them all, I just don't know what I'll do. (But a '53 Mercury convertible would sure be in the running . . .). It's not like we really need two daily drivers; the rare time we need too vehicles at once is generally a car something for me that I can take a classic for.

My job 1 came with active motion, but no CCD (for what it's worth).

Right! It's embarrassing is what it is. But hey the platinums are only 85K What do you expect. People that make these decisions should lose their damn jobs. Probably the same moron that got rid of the keypad.

@Abraham5G Can you tell us what dealership you saw the Job2 raptor with the big blank button fixed? I'm just trying to find a VIN so I can search part numbers. Thx!

Actually, I see @Abraham5G is from Houston, started searching dealer inventory in that area and found this one! Let's try to figure out these part numbers used on the VIN below.

VIN: 1FTFW1RG7SFA69718
