Because some weeks such as seemingly a vast majority of the trucks in May..... built just 5 days after mine have already shipped and are being driven around town by their happy owners a week or two later. I think the idea is that our parking lot missing chip trucks arent going anywhere soon, but some newer builds are flying right through and being immediately shipped, thus maybe a new order will too!?
Roger that. Makes sense. My only qualm is that they won’t give me the pricing I already have. I got below invoice and I’m thinking they won’t do that again for me to be honest.

Yea my truck just switched from 5/17 ETA to 8/28.... Same boat...may try to buy one off lot but 6.5 beds and the specs I wanted are not easy to find.. And Obviously previously negotiated discounts will be lost.

No dick... it’s a very legitimate question!

Since there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to who is getting their truck first, there’s a decent chance your 2nd order will show up before the 1st.

There are people on this forum who ordered their trucks in 2020 and still don’t have them.

While people who ordered theirs in March are driving new trucks and NOBODY can explain why.

I ordered my truck in October of last year. Although there are good arguments the ETA’s are placeholders, I’m still pretty sure they’re relatively accurate.

Interestingly, 3/15 is the ‘oldest’ build thread where people still arent’ getting trucks. The older ones either have all been delivers or people gave up. The newer Ones are full of people who ordered around March getting built and delivered. Sure, newer threads have our same scenarios, but it’s a mixed bag.

If I knew what I now know I would have put in 3 or 4 orders spaced across the months. I bet one of them would have showed up by now. My dealer actually put in 2 orders for me and was thrilled because otherwise they have very few trucks to sell.

I STILL don’t have an ETA. Ford BETTER be giving out discounts to us if we have to wait until the fall. I refuse to own GM ever again and I can’t stand Ram. Toyota is nice but they don’t have a 6.5 bed in a 4 door. This is becoming idiotic by now.

FYI....you have a ETA. It's at the bottom of the screenshot. 4/29/2021. The mobile browser you are using (I'm guessing Safari) does not show it correctly. If you go to regular computer, it will show it correctly.

This is pretty much what I've been saying in all the threads... a high percentage of trucks built 3/15 - 4/30 were sucked into the void. This coincides with Ford announcing that they would build incomplete trucks and fill lots with them. Starting with May build dates, things went back to mostly normal, with many trucks shipping out shortly after being built. It may not be an absolute rule and I might be off by a couple days in either direction, but it is highly correlated with all the tracking data we've seen on the various forum threads. The only thing this can mean is that Ford is prioritizing trucks coming off the line rather than incomplete trucks waiting on chips.

I'm getting a little tired of people in other threads refusing to connect the dots on this. It just means they're willfully ignoring the data or blissfully ignorant because it didn't affect them... because they ordered in Mar/Apr.

And worse, with these placeholder ETAs being pushed further and further out, it doesn't look like they're planning on reprioritizing incomplete trucks any time soon.

I don’t think you are seeing his question. He knows he has an ETA, it just hasn’t updated from the April date. This is similar to mine which still shows an ETA of 4/13/21

I see exactly that. No update at all for me. 4/29 was a month ago.

@Sfortener @KiloWhiskey My apologizes, When you said "I still have no ETA" and posted the screenshot that showed Delivery N/A, I thought you meant you actually had no ETA at all.

@Roady. No worries. I think at this point I would be happier with an ETA of N/A. Ha

Checked tracker for the eighth time today, ETA moved out to 10/31/2021 ordered on September 18!
I guess Jimmie the pud doesn't like being called a pud!
I have a 2018 king low miles, I think I'll put ex warranty on it and walk.
Anyone have any thoughts on not cancelling in case ford would try to offer something for the screwing we got although I can't imagine what that truck would be like in 5 months!

I'm not cancelling anything. I'll give them a chance to make it right with an additional discount, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll just tell them to shove the truck up their asses whenever it finally comes in a few years from now.
