I wonder how much the liners will wear through the paint. Fluid film is not a bad idea.
could be different this time around, but my 2014 had liners in from day one and with 115k miles when I pulled them to check stuff out and everything looked fine.

Torsen locker for the front ordered up! Very excited to get this in before the snow is all gone.

Interesting note, you can save some decent coin, by ordering up the part number from a Raptor, instead of getting the Ford Performance version. CL3Z4026E

I just read through the whole thread - holy smokes - very impressive mods all along the way. I have a few ideas now regarding struts and finally getting around to ordering the parts for a heated steering wheel (been thinking about that for a while). The hidden winch I've had in my mind for weeks now, but those Rigid mounts and fogs are great - your other post about them lead me here.

Thanks so much for checking out the thread. If you have any questions, let me know. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some more stuff sorted out on it this year.

Only question I may have would be the Forscan work involved for the heated steering wheel - but I may add that into that specific thread. I'm capable of the mechanics, been working on bikes with or witout motors and cars/trucks my whole life, but mucking with software has kinda paused my efforts to get this done ( my original goal was before winter).

Otherwise, I have added things similar to yours (lift, Morimoto license, fogs in centre of bumper, air bags, tonneau, switch pack) on my 2022 5.0 Lariat and some of my future mods (integrated winch and new side bumper fog mounts) you covered in here already.

I know you have your fogs all sorted, but if you consider others down the road (maybe ditch lights) - Vivid Lumens are assembled in Kelowna with an 8 year warranty and their backlight is also amber. I try to buy and support local whenever possible; with our pathetic dollar, I don't even look south at the moment.

forscan is not difficult even for a potato like myself. I've used it on 2 superduties now. the guys on here have great spreadsheets and how to's.

I heavily referenced this thread to get through my heated wheel upgrade. Great resource.

For my truck, I basically had to...
1. Replace the Clock Spring with heated wheel Clock Spring
2. Replace wheel with heated wheel (went with a Raptor Version)
3. Added wiring from Clock spring to BCM using WT1004 to plug into BCM and WPT404 to connect to the Clock spring
4. Clock Spring (SCCM) needed to be programmed using ForScan. Pretty straight forward and by taking the info off your original SCCM and loading it up to the new one.
5. Installed the HVAC with the hard button, as that is what I prefer to have. It had to be programmed using ForScan as well. You can easily enable a soft button as well on the main screen.

I've been keeping my eye on that thread and made up a parts list that I think is adequate. I keep hearing people talk about not piecing together the clock spring/parts, just buy the whole module - need to sort through that and also the fact that I don't have Climate as an option on my screen, I was told to change my screen to an F250 to get the soft button - and I don't think I want to do that to ensure less issues.

My truck was a special build during Covid for the Edmonton market, doesn't have certain things (like Nav, 360 cameras, sunroof, and auto start) - and I want to keep that all working as is. Just need to wrap my mind around it and get comfy with it all. Now that it is freezing cold - this sounds like a spring time, warmer weather project. ;) Thanks again.

Mine was a Chip Shortage truck as well, so no Nav but I use Google maps anyway. I added Sirius and thankfully have 360 and bed camera's

FYI there is a Digital/Heated wheel HVAC module on Marketplace in Edmonton. Might be a good option.

Not sure if this is the right thread but I bought a used 2021 F150 lariat and was wondering how do I find the build?
