Thanks for the pics! So wild there's no tailgate button to be found. Maybe by the dome light buttons ?

Think this is anything to be concerned with guys? Worth having the dealer note in case it becomes an issue later?

I see they went back to the pre 21 seats without the articulated shoulder pads

You may be referring to the Max Recline seats? Those are late availability from what I'm told, Job 2.

This is another finding from us. My dad tried installing his from his 21. Theres is still the plug behind the screen to plug it into, but since the switch isn’t up there anymore it wasn’t tricking the switch to stay off.

The auto stop eliminator company is only a few hours away, they are going to come up and look at my dads platinum and see what they can do to make a new plug.

Another option you can look into is 4D Tech. It’s just as popular as AS/S Eliminator and the one uses right behind the glovebox.

My ‘24 Raptor has this, absolutely love it. Don’t have to mess behind the panels or anything lol.

Options are ALWAYS good! Here's a link guys and as Nightshade mentions, they appear to support 2025 according to their website.

Thx @Nightshade this is on my list. Now, if I could just figure out part number and availability for the rear step and wireless keypads for the new 25's.

I agree 100%, options are always good—more the better! Appreciate adding the link for the members!

No problem at all! That’ll be a process—guarantee they’ll start coming in this month and show up in dealer lots very soon! Side note though; my dealers in my area were having issues getting 502As in with tailgate step due to the supply issues. Had a lot of 501As. I got lucky to get a 502A with the tailgate step, the one option I really wanted. My Raptor has it too, thank god.

Maybe AMP or other third-party options will soon become available. I really like the step in the center if you're going to have Pro Access. It seems like the logical choice. Stoked to see the 4D Stop Start option. It makes me less likely to dive into Forscan now, guess I'll live without Bambi a bit longer ?

Hopefully! But I won’t hold my breath though; no one has made a step other than the ones where you install on the side of the rear. Those integrated steps are tough to do. Pro access + tailgate I would definitely consider getting but Ford’s mindset is either it’ll be too heavy OR they just wanna make you choose either and make money off that lol.

Hahahahaha cmon it isn’t that bad at all, FORScan is awesome! Once you get the hang of it, you can help other local Ford owners as well in your city.

Bought the adapter for my 23, it got totaled before I had a chance to dive in. Will do, thanks for the vote of confidence. Lesson 1, for me, be damn sure I know how to make and replace a solid original backup!

Ahhh dang! Anytime—I know you got this!

100% make a backup of all the modules first then make your changes. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself in the long run!

Quite possible that’s the issue, my 21 has max recline and the articulated shoulders, I was informed that the max recline were not yet available. I also noticed in the last week the entry keypad option is no longer $455

Per my dealer yesterday, Ford Marketing replied to him when asking about job2 & max recline seats, that the max recline seats are now discontinued across all trucks going forward...... Not the news I wanted to hear as I have them in my 2022 KR and want them in my 2025 KR for those "articulated shoulder" as you say...

On the securicode keypad "DIO" now being $225 VS the $455 it was earlier .... I was told initially , the kit was going to be a wired-in unit, still in the door pillar...and the price reflected that. But now it's the "universal" kit that sticks to the side of the door....and is used across multiple lines, like the Maverick, etc.

Interesting: Sucks to lose another premium option for those that want to spend the money to get it. Seems to be a pattern these days. That's some good news I guess on the keypad. Price was crazy for just stock on. I'd pay it to have door pad as usual though I'm not sure the 25 would support wired ? Only good thing about keypad sticker, could do each sides, maybe, if it would support it. I just looked and looks like there are 2 options that shows compatible with the 25 F-150 now. Price is $125 as you mentioned.

The max recline discontinuation is yet another disappointment as I really do like my current seats, but no more a disappointment than the removal of interior color choice…I was informed early on that it would be the stick on keypad which I thought was a ridiculous (read mask and gun)price.
I get that ford is saving money with these moves but at some point, the people spending 80+k for these things will probably pay a reasonable price for the amenities that you used to “include” silly sh*t like the ambient lighting…no longer a spectrum, just blue…it’s still in the explorer so what is ford saving by now having two different systems?

Damn, yet ANOTHER factory delete. Bet the prices of the trucks that WOULD have come with the max recline seats with the articulated shoulders won’t go down accordingly. It will be a price INCREASE, with LESS premium features, instead!

I’m glad I got my 24 KR with those seats and the integrated key pad, and that I didn’t wait for the 25’s.

I tried the 250 Super Duty Platinum Build for the first time today. Wow, there are so many options. It must be nice to have so many choices. As of today, they still show the Max Recline available on the Ford build site.
