2025 F-150 production and scheduling

I can't speak to which is safer, but I feel like rail is less efficient in terms of time. Convoy to rail to convoy can't be faster than just a convoy from Detroit to Granger....

Mine took 3 weeks to get to Granger. Five days via rail to Kansas City. Sat in Kansas City for 2 weeks waiting to be picked up by carrier, then 1 day to Granger.

Visited three different DEN dealer lots yesterday (12/25) and we didn't identify any definite 2025 F150s on the lots (could be in locked showrooms on xmas day...but).

From my very unscientific analysis, it doesn't look like any 2025's F150's have been delivered yet to dealers (from spot checking local Detroit dealer inventory, Granger, and a few other big midwest dealerships). I know it's early, but I would have expected some models to be delivered based on when 2025 production started.

I wonder if the QA hold is all 2025's queuing up and waiting on something...

I have been watching all the Arizona dealers. Not one has shown a 2025 PB in stock. Many dealers show "Dealer Ordered" but not one has a 2025 in inventory.

Truck has been sitting in QA Hold since 12/10.

Check with your dealer; they can give you a better idea of your vehicle's actual status. For example, many users find the tracking site shows "In Production," but the truck has actually been built and moved to a parking lot for a "Quality Assurance" final inspection. Perhaps it has something to do with the V8? Yours seems to be taking longer than others for sure.

I didn’t think the plant was open in between Christmas and New Years. Maybe this is just reflecting that the truck will be built in the first week of the new year.

I talked to my sales guy mid-December. He could pinpoint my truck like we can when connected to the app. He told me my truck was sitting ”at the airport, probably in a hold lot.” This all lines up with what everyone has been repeating.

Sidebar; I looked on Google Maps at the airport and around. Found what looks to be a hold lot north of the airport. Looks like more than a few F-150s sitting around. Image is from this year. I know the image wasn’t taken in the past month, but I’d suspect they are using the same hold lot.

Interesting. I have a blend date on window sticker, shows January 3rd. How can that be if no one is home? Technology is always interesting. But only as smart as the one who programed it. Haha.
