Could be, they corrected the story but then again they made the original mistake. As of today my truck status hasn't changed so I hoping it will be completed. Still says ETA 7 June.

Read the comments at the end of the article. Supposedly workers from the Dearborn Plant say this is false information and that they are only shutting down the week of May 31st for maintenance.

Now I need to follow the 'should I keep my 2021 or just order a 2022' thread. In my case, my current EB lease ended on 4/15, so I was holding onto my truck while my new one gets built (place my order in Jan, so I was planning way ahead). Since my lease is paid in full, I wonder if FoMoCredit will do me a solid and give me a sweet deal on a month to month (would zero cost be too much to expect? haha!)

Ordered a rapid red platinum power boost on 2/13, all options except block heater, got the vin 10 days later. Have a production date of 4/30 and got the window sticker. ETA was 5/18 for awhile. It was even showing the count down days to delivery until day 7 then it changed. Window sticker not available and ETA is now 8/14.
Vroom offered $10k more than trade in and they were picking up next week. That’s on hold now.

For what it's worth, my dealer (Holzer in F. Hills, MI) just told me that when they spoke to Ford on my order, Ford advised not to go by what the tracker says - "it's all screwed up". So while they couldn't commit to a delivery date, they seemed to indicate that the 8/15 wasn't necessarily accurate. So I'll take this as encouraging news - but maintaining a holding pattern for now....

You must of had a low priority code. I ordered my truck on March 11th and it still hasnt been built.

I wonder how much the 'Priority #' for our Special Orders matters, these days.

As a squeaky wheel, back in early February, I pushed and got my Jan 2nd Order improved to Priority #1. 8 weeks later, it was in Production. The truck is now in it's 6th week of 'seasoning' on the Dearborn Test Track, awaiting a microchip for the rear camera. I still have no dates as to when it will be built, shipped, or delivered.

In 2021, at least in my experience, the concept of 'Priority #' means little.
