First time FDRS user - cannot login

I just downloaded FDRS today and have been trying all day to login. It fails at every attempt. I’ve tried everything under the sun including installing an older version of FDRS with no luck. Using my Motorcraft login info.

When I try to login as “non-dealer ETIS” with user ID and password I get error message “user authentication has failed”

When I try to login as “independent operator/non-dealer”, it sends me to Ford login page, enter credentials and it just refreshes the login page and goes nowhere.

When I run Network Diagnostics test on FDRS, I get fields “FDSP” and “Login server connection” as FAIL.

Windows Defender turned off.

I purchased the 2-day license which might expire before I get to use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reboot your pc.

Then open a browser and login to your Ford.com account.

Minimize the browser and then attempt to login to FDRS (independent/non-dealership) with the same credentials as you used with Ford.com

Be patient if the FDRS login screen appears to be just sitting there.

Once you fail trying ETIS, I'd bail on FDRS and start over.
I don't know what version you are using and which "bugs" apply, but there has been versions that seemed to fail after you accidentally tried to login with the wrong login choice.

I usually have the least problems logging into FDRS when I first log into Motorcraft Services and then trying to log into FDRS afterwards.

Is this something new? I don't recall loging in with the ETIS before. ?

Every time I try to login to Ford.com on Chrome browser it just refreshes the login page. I can login on an incognito window. Can also login on Microsoft Edge.

Go to Motorcraftservices.com and log in there first and then minimize the screen. Close FDRS and start it and then select non dealer and log in with the same user and password you used at Motorcraft services.

I've done this approach a ton of times on multiple browsers. No luck

@Paul Neubauer which one is correct "non-dealer / ETIS" or 'independent operator/ non-dealer' ?
Independent Operator / Non Dealer. I am using FDRS right now and had log in issues showing the same error above instead of the log in page until I logged into Motorcraft services and then restarted FDRS. You might restart your computer as a troubleshooting step also.

I've tried every way of getting logged in ( independent operator/ non-dealer ) and keep getting the HTTP 500 "website cannot display page" error page. "Refresh the page" and "go back to previous page" links go nowhere.
