Anyone install 2024 OEM LED bed lights

Finally got around to installing this. I went the OEM route for my 2024 XLt without scales these parts work for my truck, with three changes in forscan. I used all existing mounts for the rear harness (clips) much easier to drop the spare tire to do this right so it is OEM, dealer wouldn’t be able to tell. lol. Here’s a list of what I ordered.

I am wondering if the wire jumper assembly parts numbers that you ordered are the same as the 2 part numbers I listed. When I check the part numbers you ordered it says that they won’t fit my 24. I do have onboard scales so I wonder if that is the difference, but it would think it would only matter for the main harness I am changing out. All the other parts should be the same. The part numbers I was going to order are $50 bucks more per wire assembly. Kinda curious if they are the same just different part numbers.

I was having the same dilemma. The ones for the 23 work and are exactly the same. I ordered the cheaper ones for the 21-23

Tail lights have to come off to clip everything in correctly. 2 bolts per light. Very easy.

Question for you, how did you decide on the left wire assembly jumper? When looking at the graphic on the right wire assembly jumper, it showed 14A411E instead of 14A411F which is what you ordered.

Btw, thanks for the tip on figuring out which main wire assembly to use. I have a Lariot 502a without scales and using a similar truck with the bed utility package I was able to figure out that I should get # RL3Z-13A409-K. Post edit: This K wire does not connect to my 24 power boost led lights. It's very odd as the same truck but with the BUP shows the K wire being correct.

I can’t remember my thought process to be honest I believe I was able to find photos of both and couldn’t see a difference other than price. The connectors all hooked up to the harness and there was no extra slack and it was not short so it’s 100 percent the same lol

I would first start by ensuring that the needed wires are available at Connector C408. You need the green with Violet on pin 31 and white with green on pin 28. They will only be on the upstream side of the connector, going to the BCM, not on the taillight side of the connector. If those are present, the same parts and FORscan settings I used above should work. No guarantees, I've not attempted an STX. Please report your findings for others.

Explain to me like I’m 5…with a ‘24 Lariat does this process require any splicing, soldering, or wire modification? Or do you replace the main harness and plug and play from there?

I just tried ordering harness RL3Z-13A409-E from TascaParts.com and they said it's on nation backorder with no known ETA.

If you replace the entire rear harness you do not need to splice anything. It’s a factory fit. You need to see what harness you need by verifying what options your truck has and match it with with a replacement harness that supports your current options and adding the bed lights (options examples: in bed power inverter, bed weight scales, trailer lighting ect.) see my previous posts

What harness would I need for a 2024 stx? The only options the truck has are the 5.0 and tow/haul package.
