I see a lot of back and forth on which power plant faster on YT etc… and I am sure this topic has been beat to death on here as well.
Well I am here to beat it down some more.
So If you have a stock 4WD crew cab truck with another power plant here is your chance.

I appreciate the humour in this post, but having owned a loaded 2021 lariat FX4 Sport 502A with a 2.7EB and now a 2022 TREMOR 3.5EB 402A these are my observations. Unless there is a desire to tow anything over 9000 pounds the 2.7EB is solid and lively with great gas mileage. 22 mpg (US gallon) on a trans Canada trip (8000miles).
The 2022 TREMOR 3.5EB: Love this truck, which is nearly 2 years old and has been flawless, but: Rear end gearing configured for an off-road vehicle, wider track (awful turning radius BTW), Off-road tires and lifted rear end, contribute to much worse fuel mileage, unless driven VERY gently. Huge difference between 60 and 80 mph. Performance is staggering, even without LMS tune, and has astonished a couple of my RAM HEMI buddies! Bemoaning the lack of the 5.0L Coyote option (made in my city of Windsor, ON), on 2022 models, I’m more than satisfied in its performance, and would probably have opted for it regardless.

Actually, if you are into it you do buy a turbo… to put on the 5.0.

The point is don’t attack somebody just because they do not agree with your opinion. You were not important enough to have the end all be all opinion or idea.

You can’t compare an $800 ford performance tune and 10 minutes of your time, to turboing a 5.0.

I get what you’re saying but it’s apples and oranges
I guess you can argue the FP whipple. But again multiples more cost more time

5200lbs > 5700lbs

V8 Longevity > Battery/turbo issues

Highway mileage is actually pretty much the same. Not sure where you pulled the 19 # from lol

From a dig the power boost is slightly quicker but from a roll 5.0 FTW as expected.

If you want to make it a money game then a few boltons with a large dry shot on the 5.0 will crush the majority of 3.5 trucks.

The average 5.0 F150 isn't a 3800lb tube chassis truck making 1500hp. The fastest F150s are 5.0 trucks, because obviously the 5.0 is the best option for making over 1000hp.

When it comes to daily drivers, I would argue that the average tune only 3.5EB is faster than the average tune and bolt on 5.0 F150. It's very cheap and easy to make 550 hp/600 lb-ft with a 3.5EB, but don't buy a 3.5EB if you want 1000hp.

I really don’t care about the fastest f150. Spray your daily and lmk how that works out for ya at a 100,000 miles. Been down that road and back my man.

FP tuned trucks can still tow and not lose any mpg or function tho
