Ford Pass v5 - now available

I got an email from the Early Access team on this a few days back. They invited me to be a ver 5 beta tester. The email had a link to sign up which took me to a survey. Also there was an agreement to share my comments only with Ford. They also made it clear that it’s a beta version so an unfinished product. I am supposed to be getting a link to install the software when it’s ready. I have an iPhone and haven’t got the link yet.

I received the same email from EA last Monday, I to never received the invitation. But in the meantime Fordpass flipped to beta on it's own. Even for people not in EA, so I guess it an open beta test now.

I hope @Ford Motor Company is paying attention to threads like this and taking notes.
Upping prices on trucks while taking away options and features plus dumbing down the app will not help keep me a Ford customer.

I don't think a software application in beta is necessarily a good example of feature deletions.
Don't get me wrong, Ford absolutely has performed a few feature removals in the official FordPass application. A couple that sting me to this day.
But when I'm running the beta version I'm paying closer attention to how it performs vs what functions have been carried over or not yet.

Has anyone tried remote start using 5 , in my case I have an ICE 5.0. When I tried it this afternoon I slide the slide switch over and the truck started. Not a problem. But the app didn't provide feedback to Fordpass of a successful start, or the countdown in minutes before the engine will turn off. Both were there in Fordpass 4. Has anyone tried this what was your findings?

I like the new UI. Yeah it's missing some things, but it's beta. I'm sure we'll get tire pressure and other things back. I switched back but am looking forward to the change when all the features are there.

No, that's the 5.0 Beta. Do you have things like, zone lighting control, service records, trailer light check, warranty information, or are all of those missing?

It’s 5.0 beta and everything I used before is there for me now. Not concerned with things I never used.
