Since its brand new could you also see what MX records they have for a truck that sat on the lot for 1 year?

Last OTA it got was 6.2.0 yesterday. You've gotten two updates since you got it, so that is good. Modules pending updates are below. That list is from PTS that is not 100% accurate. You are not on the latest sync, which means you are also missing APIM, GWM and TCU updates.

Psychologically, this would hurt customer relationships with Ford rather than stir excitement with the customer experience. Wouldn't you think?

Ah.....it may be universal. I don't work in the service side of the industry. Your warranty history is empty, though. Nothing has been done to it.

The only course of action is to wait. Other than investing in the tools needed to do it yourself, there is nothing you can do but wait. While I agree the OTA process is not great, this isn't a Ford thing.......all manufacturers go through the same thing with the exception of Tesla.

You're missing the 6.x.x updates. You aren't terribly behind. Last OTA you got was 4.2.4 in August, so it hasn't been a year.



You are way past the 4.x.x updates. You're by 6.8.0 and you have OTA 23-PU1113-UNX-DC sitting in your queue right now which will install the next time you start your truck.

I do see 23B21 open in your VIN, and I also see 22G06 to add the heated steering open for your VIN, too. I would make the appointment and the upgrade and GWM update done, too.

Hay Rugedraw... got this gate way alert but i don't see anything on FDRS... haven't received any update since 10/31... any way to tell if i need this update or not?

Same thing @DcnPat mentioned above. The TSB is attached for your reference. If you did all available updates, then the dealer will just have to clear this from your VIN the next time you take it in.

I got the Power Update 6.2.0.

The biggest difference I have noticed and I am sure of this... the B&O sound system has been adjusted and sounds freaking amazing. It almost feels like it has twice the power output and the bass is more pronounced.

Hey all. Finally got around to trying to connect FordPass on my 2020 F250 XLT and FP support is telling me the modem needs to be reset and updated at the dealer. Wondering if you can check my VIN and let me know if anything else needs attention while I am dealing with this.

That I am not sure how to address. I would leave the truck connected to wifi in case that new new update to fix connectivity issues is applicable to your truck. Wifi is the only way it will go through IF that is the case.

I have a 2022 F250 that has not had any updates since I purchased and picked up April of 2022. I am on software version 134. Can I get my VIN run to see what I am dealing with. VIN: 1FT7W2BN0NED74233. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I will connect it to my cell hotspot and hopefully that way I can avoid a trip to the dealer. From some of the forum posts i see dealing with software/fordpass at the dealer can be a pain.

@rugedraw Can you check out my VIN? It was at the dealer again last week. They said they had to reprogram the Gateway Control Module. 2022 F-150 Tremor. VIN# 1FTEW1E83NFA62621. Also, does it matter what time you schedule the update? I just changed it to 10:00am, as I have an hour drive to work and figured the battery would be at max charge. Thank you!!
