Screen won't stay at last setting?

My screen wont stay on the audio setting, everytime I start my truck it comes up to the settings page? Anyone know how to fix this?

May not be connected in any way, but mine has been doing that a lot lately. However, I'm going thru some battery issues (no autostop for months, no interior lighting, no turning on radio, FOB not working on passenger side or sometimes driver, angry messages, etc., etc.) and I've been attributing it to that.

same thing just started happening to me about 3 weeks ago after OTA 6.5.0 and I replaced the battery. I always leave the screen on the music page and now when I turn off it’s always on settings screen. Have you figured out why yet?

This is in my dumb things my truck does thread.

Started with one of the 6.x updates, every time I start truck it says "F-150 Saved" and goes to setting screen.

I assume future update will knock off the annoyance of this update but that might be months away to update our APIM again.

exactly the same here. Maybe a screen reset will work? I’ll try this later and see!!!

i would ask if the battery is fully charged?
weird stuff happens with just a bit out of spec.
charge battery to full and then with truck running, set all your screens then make sure you press the home icon
then shut off truck and see if it stays normal.

Brand new Motorcraft H7 AGM and 12.94 V
So I know it’s not this. Has to be from the OTA 6.5.0

Also doing a full charge on it now with my Noco Genius

New battery as well so definitely not related to that. It was not doing it before last round of updates with my old battery.

this was my n my notes from a year ago as I was instructed to do by Ford for a different issue.

Reset screen…. Press Vol & fast fwd same time for 5 sec. Screen will cycle. Truck has to be on.

Ok I did a screen reset. Turn truck off with the screen on Audio Siriusxm. Left off for 5 min started it up and back to settings screen….ugh?‍

Well shit I just went and started my truck and was gonna try it. lol

In my experience it has to do with CarPlay coming online. Close out of all the apps on your phone then try turning your truck on, for me it will then default back to Sirius xm.
