I updated back in may 2023, around 5/15/23. Took me about 2 days, but since then I’ve been getting good OTA updates with no problems, until 6.3.0.

Looks like the mothership realized the error of her ways and is making up for it. You have 6.4.0 in your queue as of 45 minutes ago. Next time you start your truck, the OTA trigger will get activated and the files will download.

I just picked up my truck from the dealer. They had to do some warranty work so i asked them to update all the modules and sync 4 while the truck was there. Not sure anything was updated or not since my sync build still shows version 22293 Revision:610. Could someone check my VIN to see if i still have SW updates showing? VIN 1FTFW1RG1NFC31153

Modules that were update are below. All except the APIM, and that is why you are showing the same Sync version. They tried to update it twice, but FDRS was not able to obtain all the files it needed for the update from the servers, so they gave up after two tries. At least they tried which is more than what happens 99% of the time anyone asks a dealer to do updates.

Can you please check for OTA updates? My last update was in August and I'm wondering if I need to get on the mongoose borrow list and get caught up or is there something else blocking them.

FDRS is what dealers use, I am sure with the support in this forum, you'd be able to get it done if you had a Mongoose.

No OTA action since August, but I would not panic yet. I can add you to the list if you want, but they have been very aggressive rolling out the 6.x.x updates, so if you start getting them, I can always take you off the list later. Waiting list is 2 months + right now.

Yes i do have a mongoose cable, just never had the nerves to do the updates myself. Well at least i only have the APIM to update now. Would this be the same 23' APIM update that i see in other posts? ( Turn with camera on the screen feature)

No, that is an IPMA update; not APIM. That cannot be put on your truck with conventional methods. We are all hoping to get a new IPMA update for out trucks soon for that and other reasons.

Last OTA you got was 6.4.0, so you are not too far behind in terms of power-up updates. Modules pending updates are below:

Just when I was over my OCD Ford wants to update BlueCruise. I’ll have to turn email notification back on.

Truck is running great. Biggest issue I’ve had is Nav needs a workaround to load. Hopefully Ford won’t break the truck when it gets around to updating my truck. I know that there is nothing that can be done to force OTA’s.

Curious if any particular issues about receiving OTA’s. The last one that I’m aware of getting was 4.2.4 in June 2023
