Yes with 35’s. The older version deployed lower which was much more comfortable stepping on and for others as well.
I like the idea of maybe seeing if superduty oem steps might work. Since the cab is the same. Maybe they have longer reach. ?

If you have the 21+ factory power boards, the super duty boards probably go about 5 inches lower, that was the difference between my factory boards and the SD boards I put on.

5” would be great. Your thread is helpful too thanks. Like you I could get a set with the chrome strip but I’m not familiar with wrapping so I’m looking for a black set. Not much luck though.

It was stupid simple to wrap the chrome, if you can lay down masking tape you can do this just as easy, here is what I used and worked great. Its held up awesome and no peeling or anything.

That is great to know. Everything bolts right up with SD boards, and it’s plug-n-play? No special instructions?

Yup, if you already have power boards it should be. You might have to run a DSM self test so the new boards calibrate correctly, but that should be it.

DSM self test? How can I run that?

I need them to deploy lower.
I had a 2019 F-150 with peer boards that were at perfect height for me
My new 2023 are almost 4-5” higher when deployed. Which sucks for me. Any suggestions, wish I would have pulled my old ones off before I traded 2019 in. ?

Swap them for F250 model boards or 2015-2020s. I’m going to do the swap but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Should have swapped them, would have been plug and play. Super duty boards will be a couple inches lower but are closer to your old ones than the new ones. I can find SD boards left and right on marketplace, F150 boards are a diamond in the rough apparently.

I tried the extenders…didn’t like them….found a set of 15-20 f150 power running boards….they fit fine…same plug..I just had to reverse the polarity of the power wires. They go down to the proper height

Good deal, good to know. I noticed the deploy and stow was reversed on the last gen compared to this gen when I was hooking mine up way back, I thought it was an error on the schematic, but sounds like they did change it.
