So rape the ones who buy luxury? Sound logic right there.Taillights for my STX are $150, If you can afford a Platinum you can afford $5,000 repair here and there. That’s a well known risk when buying a luxury vehicle, need to pay to play. They make trucks for us cheapskates, that’s why I bought my STX.
You wanted 3D cams, radar, LED’s. I bought a basic halogen. You pay more for more. It’s not r*pe, it’s the cost of a good. You think all that capability should be free? What is this, socialism? So rape the ones who buy luxury? Sound logic right there.

Yep. It’s so wrong that I have to spend more on gasoline for my F-150 than my neighbor with her Carolla. I should spend the same as her right?!?what a dumb
pretty siily statement
Your analogy is so skewed and lack of logic shown is reason enough not to continue a conversation; however, great job in making my point! If she spent $60 to fill her car, you should spend $2,200 to fill yours up. I mean, hey, if you can afford the bigger tank you can afford to pay $2,200 to fill it up.Yep. No, because the gas is accomplishing the same thing. These lights, are not. You have LED bulbs, radar sensors, cameras? All that with the associated communications hardware and modules. Your lights carry alot more function and capability, her gas and mine carry the same basic functionality. I just burn more.Your analogy is so skewed and lack of logic shown is reason enough not to continue a conversation; however, great job in making my point! I appreciate you deleting the other post as it was insensitive and hurt my feelings….i couldn’t find my happy space for 5 minutes ???. Joking aside, there are no cameras in the tail light. The plastic housing (not much different than yours) and led bulb are $1,500 each without sensors, radar or all that other jazz that brought the price up to $2,650 ea. Are you really saying the led justifies a 1,000% increase? If so, I have a bunch of stuff to sell you….then maybe I could afford the $5,600 ????No, because the gas is accomplishing the same thing. My 5.0 has a new long block price of $13,000, and her Carolla is $4,000, so I’ll pay 3X if my engine blows up. Again, that comes with the increased capability of the far more advanced engine. I see what you are saying, it’s a lot. But it’s not that crazy.
You pay the same for gas you just buy more of it, Any more silly questions just let me knowYep. It’s so wrong that I have to spend more on gasoline for my F-150 than my neighbor with her Carolla. I should spend the same as her right?!?
Nope.. that is not it.Union Wages. ?![]()
