I guess you can only change but so much when you've laid off your engineers. Really hate the tailgate and light changes.

I'm somewhat surprised there's no new hybrid. The 2.7 being a base engine is a good move I didn't really see. The 3.3 was so bulletproof and fit the majority of fleet users so well. Kinda wish I did the 3.3 myself. If this 2.7 gives me issues down the line I'll be looking for a 3.3.

I'm not seeing sport packages at all. Only a black package. Powerboost is basically a free option and while it seems nifty, I'm glad I don't have it.

Overall if they don't make some big changes to packaging their sales are going to drop. It's not the fewer options, it's eliminating setups completely. Personally I don't like chrome bumpers or black trucks. But if that's the case you're into a lariat at 65k. Someone made some big mistakes here.

Max Tow is now just Trailer Tow package. It includes all the same options as the `21 - `23.
This would jive with the rear brake sizing:
Ford F-150 2024 F-150 Refresh Revealed! New Design, Tech, Base 2.7L EcoBoost Engine, Pro Access Tailgate 1694572006176

I just wanna know if it would be possible to put that new HUD in the 21-23s, that's all I want
Looks like it would require replacing the whole dash, since it's only on the Platinum that gets the "Super Duty" dash.

I"m not watching, any mention of the move to Android?
There was not. It all looked like the current Sync interface.

Got to see the show live with my big wig Ford neighbor. Was not impressed with any of the updates, Tremor grill is ugly, Raptor looked sweet and sounded nice. Wont be updating anytime soon as the prices have gone sky high with no major improvements to get me excited. Talked with a few software people about the module programming problems on the current generation and they said it's going to take a while to fix in house. Will get to see the whole show tomorrow during supplier day, hope to see the new Mustang GTD but that's way out of reach.

Another surprise. They really pushed the PowerBoost. I think I heard a mention of the Lightning once.

For sure. Someone in the audience should have yelled “STOP SAFELY NOW!!” ;)

(I do feel bad for all the 2023 Powerboost owners with that problem)

Finally someone has the balls to build a truck with a triple exhaust.

Ford F-150 2024 F-150 Refresh Revealed! New Design, Tech, Base 2.7L EcoBoost Engine, Pro Access Tailgate 1694573204639

(this is from a build config with an XLT high BAP Plus)
The new packages seem interesting, a lot more tech in lower trims it looks like. I'm not sure if I'd care to have a bluecruise equipped truck...

I swear they must let the summer interns design the build and price website. Laughable really…

A few things I've noticed: 5.0 not available in King Ranch and Platinum. King Ranch only available with 6.5' bed? Platinum not available with dual exhaust. 4x4 is standard on Lariat and up? KR comes standard with HUD but Platinum does not. Losing Azure Gray and Stone Gray colors, gaining Darkened Bronze. KR only available with 2 tone paint (no more chrome package). No more tailgate appliqué on KR and Platinum. Limited replaced with Platinum Plus. Lariat BAP loses Tremor hood. No more Lariat Sport. STX standalone trim replaces Rattler. I don't see the bed extender option or the upgraded tailgate option. No word on Tremor with Lariat headlights. No word on Lobo trim.
