Yes, you will need to connect one extra wire to the turn signal on your headlights. This enables the welcome animation as well as programming features. They will work if you just plug them in directly, but you won't get nearly all of the features.

I agree- the various grille options make it difficult but we are exploring ways to make a small-depth solution.

We will be sending an update out to current customers this afternoon with more information - if you're waiting or you've received your lights, please keep an eye out. Thank you again for your patience everyone.
Thanks. I'm just looking for white DRL and fogs to work. I'll probably skip the connection to the headlights.

I was concerned about my order when I saw the first post, but I'm very glad to see the company step up to do things right. I will share that I bought some flush mount pod lights from DD and found them to be more or less indestructible. The DD standard of quality is very high, and I'm confident that they'll do this the right way even if there are bumps.

Still no update email?

I'm getting impatient and will be returning for a full refund if I don't have my new, fixed harness by end of next week. This is getting ridiculous.

I jumped the gun. Email is going out today.

Please note that those who do have lights already will be cared for quickly with replacement items.

Email came out, we’re looking at 1-2 weeks for fogs and 4-6 for headlights. I’ll update the thread (which goes on several tangents and I might clean up) when I get and install the lights.

Still waiting patiently for updated harnesses.. support isn't very helpful, getting the usual "we're working on it, 1-2 week" stuff I've been hearing for the last 4 months. I'm waiting until the end of next week before throwing in the towel and returning for a refund.

I didn't see if you have headlight and foglights, but I wouldn't give up just yet.

I only have the fog lights installed and am very impressed with the cutoff and output. It would be a hard decision to return based on being such a huge improvement over stock.

To say this has been a nightmare experience is an understatement . After the long drawn out wait
I was happy to finally get my fog lights. I planned on pairing them with the stock LED headlights , and using the sequential turn signal tie in. So lets start with the design..... They look great.
But that's where it ends.... after paying $250 to have them installed by a authorized dealer , I was happy to finally have them.... but the first night I knew something wasn't right.

1.) They are really dim ...In no way "brighter than stock fogs". I don't know if this is a voltage thing ? because if this is how bright they meant them to be....its terrible. They are hardly visible and throw NO light on the shoulders like the OEM's. The DRL's do not match the OEM DRL in pattern or brightness. and you can only see them strait on , not at an angle.

2.) ADJUSTABILITY - So I thought maybe they weren't adjusted correctly... So...
Center of the lens , 25ft away.... 4" down set height. the drivers side adjusted to about 3" lower than the target and had no more adjustability.
the passengers side was even worse... 6" below and it wouldn't raise any harder.... felt stripped out.

3.) RF interference - With the fogs lights on ALL FM station are complete static. Turn the fog lights off... Crystal clear. And on my 2023 ... it has lighted cornering that even if your fogs are off, when you turn the come on in that direction.... Radio cuts out.... Yeah...

So after SEVERAL calls and e-mails they said they would send me a new pair.... and they were working on a "reworked" version but could not explain what the changes would be.
they also said It would be the end of October before they were to ship..... so here we go again
"just a few more weeks" I am ready to just cut my losses and ask for a refund at this point ,
unless they can explain to me EXACTLY WHAT THE "REWORKED" LIGHTS WILL HAVE DONE TO THEM.
And will they be brighter ????????

Yellow is going to be slightly dimmer in clear weather, still sad to hear. We need to know more about the headlights!

Usually static means a bad ground. Does the static rev with the rev of the engine?
I appreciate Paul jumping in with updates here and there but October timeframe seems a little beyond acceptable. Not even sure what your first timeframe was?
I have a Plat so Im happy with my factory lights but if those Morimoto lights are plug and play, might be time to jump ship. I dont think I recall hearing any problems with MMs. I personally cant justify paying thousands of dollars for lights tho....

I'd have jumped ship already but the MM are expensive and look worse IMO.

At this point the only option is OEM + harness which comes out to about $2400.

I've just lost all confidence in DD.. still a clownshow over there week after week, regardless of what Paul or CS says.

What is DDs cost and what is MMs cost vs OEM?
I really don't know, have not been looking in that arena.

Mori 2k, Diode $1600 ( I got the non-elite version).
Well whats the cost of a multiple month long headache? Maybe Ford or Mori will give you a trade in credit? Or maybe just sell the old ones for cash in pocket? Whats ebay (your current) lights going for?
Sometimes the departure of a headache outweighs the cost. Even if its a good dent in the wallet
:(
