Should just be a big opening and you'd need to fill it in. I'm happy with the vertical bars. My 2011 first generation Ecoboost had a giant hole with nothing there. Later models filled the hole so I bought the insert similar to what this truck has on it.

Yes sir. I started removing mine and realized it'd be a giant opening and not a fan of a 120 mph bird catcher. Lol

I spent way too much time trying to find the right wheel look and color to work with my Smoked Quartz. The gunmetal just seemed to work best for my color. The other wheel I was seriously considering was the Flame 6 Black with Milled Accent.

Found bonus part in my passenger side fender.

I'm just gonna assume what they said on another forum that it is something used during assembly. It was just sitting loose inside the front fender.

Same markings as pictures in this old thread that is how I found it on Google.

I love the BAP fender badges but just can't bring myself to pay hundreds of dollars for 2 pieces of plastic. They do look great though (just saying I'm a cheap bastard...lol)

I would love to find a part number for the Ford Performance fender badge inserts, but I'm sure if they sold them separately, they would be stupid expensive also. Once Ford jacked the price of the heated steering wheel from $160 to $400+, I opted out of that mod also.

I agree stupid expensive but I had poor experience painting stuff on my last truck. It's all good looking until bugs flake your paint job. This appears to be made this way and not painted on. At least I hope. Should hold up better.
Plus I'll keep this truck 10 years I want it to look how I want for it's time with me.

I used a flathead screw driver wrapped with a microfiber towel. Make sure to put pressure into the plastic clip and not the backside of the glass.

Thanks @9663mu! It took some time to get here with all of the costs of the wants adding up. I still have a fairly healthy list of to-do's, but I'm happy where I am now. I love my truck even with the little gremlins I've had to deal with over the past year. Ford has taken care of me so no complaints. I do love the c7Z06 so maybe that was the inspiration. ?

Last weekend I gave the truck a nice foam blast bath and scrub, Honestly, the color hides the dirt well since I didn't even deep clean them this time around and didn't see the need. Later that night I checked to see if they were still dirty and they definitely had some brake dust so they are getting a deep clean this weekend.

I think when i was looking for wheels i was dead set of either the Rebar or Flame 6 in gloss black i believe. been a minute since i looked. NEITHER were anywhere to be found! i had a wheel/tire guy that had direct connection with a couple suppliers and they had NONE!

Not at all complaining bc ultimately i saved money and went with the Brink Wheels which make me happy haha
