Connected services question.

I bought the 3yr. nav.

I may be wrong but I thought that with that, came a 3 yr. subscription to SiriusXM.

Yesterday, something came up on the screen about a trial period.

There was also something about a modem, needing to be activated before 60 days?

Can anyone straighten me out, or add some color to this?

Hotspot is only a free 30-day trial. I believe Sirius was 6-month free service. You can get Sirius for $4.99/mo. I chose to keep Ford streaming for $10/mo.

I have all connected services enabled except Sirius/XM (don't use it)

I use all the services everytime I start the truck, except Bluecruise.
I know it's not a common use-case scenario, but the Sync4 update to support 2 phones simultaneously is the reason all the connected services are a great deal for me.

One of my phones is Sim-less, so the truck's native Hotspot/LTE/Bluetooth OBDLink adapter are all in play on that phone.
(PID monitoring, Spotify, Audible books, etc)

The second phone is my personal cellphone and is only in play for hands-free calling and corporate email monitoring. I never touch this phone with my hands.

I thought I got three years of Navigation since I did the Audio Upgrade, see attached, but Navigation ended after three months. Called the Navigation purchase line and they said that my model did not have a chip version built in so I needed to pay for more than 3 months. VERY misleading below.

HOTSPOT is valid for 3 months of 3GB, which ever comes first. You can extend the trial for $20 a month.

yes, especially when its "built-in" to the truck. and I'm sure its factored into the cost of SYNC4. Just another way to bleed consumers out of another dime.

the RAM I came from had navigation for life, and FREE updates from TOMTOM (but that entire system was a $1500 option--UCONNECT).
