Looking straight on, it is very hard to see the difference without the blue badges next to it. With the originals next to them, it is very obvious though. I think it is the lack of contrast with everything being black/grey around it.

The biggie today though was XPEL PRIME XL PLUS nano-ceramic tint on all glass. My big thing was that it had to stay "legal" so it is 15% windshield, 35% front doors and moonroof and 70% rear doors and back window. Not real sure how to get good pictures of tint! Now I get to wait for the tint to fully dry. Hoping for much cooler summers!
Looks good. What brand of bulbs did you use?Not a fan of the Morimoto tail lights because of the embossed BLISS symbol so decided to put in LED tail light bulbs in my tinted XLT tails. Also threw in LED license plate bulbs so now all exterior lighting is bright white instead of a mix with halogen.
Did the same setup on mine. Did the front turns with the Underground Lighting as well. Can't beat plug and play options
I could never get those numbers correct! I just got it from the installer though. 35% on the front door glass, and 70% everywhere else, including the moonroof. I updated my post as well. Thanks for pointing that out! And to answer your question, I think the 35% will be fine, but I haven't been out at night yet either. Now the technicality is that you have to do a little math to be accurate. So for instance, multiply the stock tint with what you want to add times a 100 to get what the final result will be; (0.50 x 0.80) x 100 =40%. I don't know what the stock tint level is for the King Ranch, so I can't figure it out.
