I see they installed a new APIM and properly ran the PMI process. If your truck was stuck not getting updates, you should be able to start getting them now whenever Ford decides to send you one. Just because they fixed your APIM does not mean you will magically start getting updates right away.

I don't know exactly what those inbound/outbound packets contain, but several really clever router log reviewers have mentioned that the weight/volume of the combined stream isn't enough to even come close to a legitimate Payload representative of an update.

It's definitely some kind of handshake though.

I have a July '22 Platinum and as far as I know I've only had one update, Jan 29th to Power-Up 3.5.3.2.

Can someone check my vin and see if I should be expecting an update to 4.2?

Hi- Just as a follow-up...I took my 2021 F-150 ( 1FTFW1E88MKD32498 )
to the dealer on Monday (4/17) for the wiper motor recall. I decided to ask them about the lack of updates to my truck (going into deep sleep mode, update failed message, etc.) Today I have the truck back (4/20)--long story short, it is still on Ford Power-Up 3.5.2, and SYNC 4, Software Version: 22192_PRODUCT Revision: 498.
I have no idea if I'll ever be in the queue for future Ford updates

This line was on my invoice:

15931 VERIFY CONCERN UPDATE FAILURE, CHECK TSB, SSM NONE, SELF TEST

NO DTC TEST BATTERY PASS, PERFORM BMS RESET GWM FAILED OTA UPDATE CHECK
NO GWM UPDATE AVAILABLE SOC 90 PERCENT, TCU APIM, GWM ALL OPERATING
CORRECTLY AT THIS TIME, CONNECTED VEHICLE DATA WORKING ON PTS.

I think at this point I should just be content that my FordPass app works, and that I really like the truck!

No OTA history since you got 3.5.3.2. You would need 3.5.4 sent before you get the 4.2.x updates.

They did perform a network scan to check for updates, but I find it hard to believe there is no GWM update available for your truck. Someone with FDRS would have to run your VIN to confirm.

Yea you got 3.5.4 on 3/24. Your truck is rolling with OTAs.

You received 3.5.4 in early February. As far as OTA updates go, you are almost fully up to date.

I just took complete ownership of the truck and I was hoping the OTA would of happened by now.

i just want full screen!
I'm tempted to buy a Mongoose and start a Canadian lending thread like the other going.

Could someone see where I'm at? I'm stuck im sure. I keep changing my update scheduls to see if I can bump it some how.
I wish this cable was more accessible for people.
