I’m in the same boat as 2.8.1 installed for me last night also. I also received 2.7.4 last week too.

Well I lucked out. Still at work, I opened FordPass and saw an alert that 2.8.1 has installed successfully! Apparently in messing around before I had my automatic updates set to 1PM instead of 1AM. I guess my battery must be good. I got the alert at 2:05 so looks like basically an hour for it to update. So glad to be over the hump and hopefully 2.8.2 comes soon and I'll finally have BlueCruise.
Things are rolling fast now. I just got another alert that update 22-PU0727-VI-FXB was installed and my BlueCruise is now active. I was surprised as the wiki indicated 2.8.2 was the one that enabled BlueCruise, so I don't know if other interim updates such as 2.8.2, 2.8.3 and 22-PU0614-SRV-RC were updated yet or not.

I got the same update today too. I don’t think it’s officially enabled , but I did read that this update was a map update . I will be able to test it later and see if it is enabled.

We’ll I got a message in FordPass saying it was enabled and my 1 year trial has started. I haven’t been able to test it yet though.

I had a similar experience with updates back in Sept 2022.
No indication I ever received 2.8.2 or 2.8.3.

"PowerBeast" - our 2021 F150 Lariat 4x4 Powerboost
Updates to my 2021 Job 1 Lariat PB have worked well all along via OTA.

On February 1 it received 3.5.4, as shown in Messages in the Ford Pass app and in settings in the truck.

However, for the last few weeks the FP app is showing a Vehicle Alert:
Update Scheduled - Review Your Date and Time

The date & time is set for 11:02 PM, 7 days a week.

Tapping the update for details shows:

It's on step 2 of 3 (Schedule Update)
The Priority Update is 22-PU1007-DOR-UP
Thinking back, I seem to remember using the Update Pending icon (on the 12" screen) to install a post 3.5.4 update, followed by an Update Successful message.

Over these last several weeks the Pending Download or Pending Update icons NOT been showing. So, it seems the FP app and my truck disagree.

The concern is my truck is now in some error status and won't receive further OTA updates.

EDIT:

Would someone please check my OTA status: 1FTFW1EDXMFB28212

Thanks!

My 2021 Job 1 received 3.5.3 OTA on January 25th, followed by 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM on Feb 16th, then 22-PU1007-DOR-UP on Feb 17th.

Assuming that has me up to date, nothing again since that little flurry of activity. However, have not seen anything claiming to be "3.5.4". Perhaps the other 2 PU updates were the equivalent of that? Any word on when BC 1.2 will come to the 21s?

Well this is exactly the sequence @Txmade and myself just got. Have you gotten more updates since then? I'd love to get full screen carplay too, hopefully that may be in the not to distant future for me.

Before this thread gets too deep, I would like to remind everyone that I am just a car salesman and everything I have learned, I have learned from following the forums, dealing with my own Job 1 truck's OTA issues, and asking questions to a few select guys on here that are very knowledgeable on these trucks and the issues associated with it. If you have a job 1 truck and you cannot toggle auto-updates on and off and are on Sync version 20301 or below, then there is a very good chance your truck fell victim to a faulty APIM update (1.7.1) that was putting trucks in an OTA limbo and preventing more updates from coming in. When I check people's VINs for OTA statuses and I see no update history in 60 days, I then check the build dates to see if it is a job one and then I check their Sync version to see if it is 20301. If I see that red flag, I always refer them to the dealer with an explanation of what is going on with their truck or suggest the FDRS route. I have found countless trucks stuck in OTA limbo.

The problem is, people think that just because they haven't gotten an update in "x" amount of time, they are affected by this issue, and that is not the case. Any job 1 owner who is behind on updates can just be at the mercy of Ford's OTA process to get the next update sent to them and not necessarily "stuck". Most trucks are not "stuck". Every time I find one, I let the owner know their truck needs some kind of help to get past the point it is at. Most people do not want to touch FDRS with a ten foot pole, and I get it, as it can be intimidating.

If someone could run my VIN and provide truck info regarding OTA updates, if any, I would appreciate it.

Here is what I know:
I bought the 2021 F150 Lariat Powerboost used on 11-20-22 with only 5500 miles.
Truck built date is 9-29-21 (Job 2?)
Original owner purchased truck 12-16-21 yet warranty start date is 10-29-21. Not sure why?
Truck has Blue Cruise and it always works.
Jan 2023 I was looking to see OTA updates if any. Previous owner said he never used it.
Connected truck to our internet, set schedule updates for 1am for all 7 days of the week.
Checked "Update Details" and it listed nothing for prior updates. Hit the "check for updates" button and after pref search said truck was "up to date".
Checked Sync 4 software version: "22192_PRODUCT"
Revision: 498

Today, 3-24-23, everything says the same thing:
No prior updates listed
Hit update button and it says none needed.
Same Sync version & revision numbers listed.
I've never been prompted to update anything by Sync or told anything has updated successfully.

I don't have full screen apple car play and I cannot find where others are seeing update numbers like 2.4.1. and 4.2.1 , etc.

People say if OTA updates isn't working the "update now or check for updates" button is grayed out. That you cannot set the update schedule or BlueCruise won't work. I have all that working.
Is it just that I need to wait longer for FORD to push updates to me? Seems like the 2021's would be first on the list to get updates, then 2022's and then 2023's.

If anyone has any insight, I would appreciate it.
