generic dynamat for exterior panels
i have used it on other vehicles behind outside panels, hold up well to road crud
it is on the inner side so the rocks and stuff wont tear it out after a bit
still have to make an alum panel for the oil drain spot

OK that was the easiest thing i have done to my truck so far
total time less than 25 minutes, including walking back to house to retrieve the metal pan
my frame had the fwd holes, so it was easy using fords captive nut and bolt
lifted rear up, attached rear bolts loosely, then swung it up and put in the tw0 10mm bolts then the front fwd frame, tightened the frame bolts then tightened the two 10 mm bolts
i still have to make a oil drain cover, but that wont take long at all
when you thump it, it sounds solid vice TINNY ring
put some butyl isolation tape under the frame ears as well
raccoons and skunks now wont stand a chance

i just made the OIL drain cover from the old felt cover
want to see how it rides or if its needed before i cut one from alum
felt pad cleaned up the look a bit imo

Today as a matter of fact! Ford Parts Giant had the best price after taking shipping into consideration but they cancelled my order due to "backorder". Ford Parts Distributor showed to have one in stock so order placed and on my porch in 3 days.
My '22 Powerboost has both the forward frame holes for the captive nuts but only the driver side is easily accessible. On the passenger side there are some coolant lines in the way. So for now my is secured and pretty solid with the 3 tabs bolted to frame and the two little 8 mm in the front. I opted not to get the oil drain cover.
If you want all four tabs for max strength, it looks like you could remove a few brackets from the coolant lines and possibly shift them out of the way enough to slide the captive nut in but you would need a low profile button head bolt or shim the coolant lines out for clearance after snugging it up.
For my use, it protects the catalytic converters from a theft perspective and as long as I avoid a big hit to the right front part of the skid I should be good.
